"A good hotel, furnished like an apartment with a kitchen. The reception was friendly, but unfortunately, there were dogs on the same floor. Check-in only starts at 3:00 PM, which takes some getting used to. There are plenty of parking spaces, but there's an EV charging station across the street, which only works with the appropriate app. There should be an agreement for all hotel guests to use it."

"Staff were very helpful when we requested extras but the basic room didn’t have a fridge or kettle or hairdryer as standard Breakfast was excellent and allowed for hikers to prepare a full packed lunch at extra cost"

"Hotel is literally on top of Voringsfossen. You can enjoy the magnificent views right from your window. Rooms are clean and spacious. Highly recommended to walk and hike. Serene and peaceful."

"I booked a deluxe balcony room, but ended up sharing the balcony with someone else, and the balcony door was broken and wouldn't lock. After reporting this to the front desk, they said the same room was fully booked on the day of check-in, so I had to switch to a room without a balcony."

The front desk staff went out of their way to ensure our sightseeing days were well planned and gave good recommendations of where to go, off the beaten path. Our large room was very comfortable with nice linens, down pillows and comforters. Washers and dryers for guest use were an added bonus. Restaurant has a tasty and expansive breakfast buffet with all kinds of healthy choices. The evening menu has delectable choices. We tried the lamb, beef tenderloin and moose medallions. All were prepared deliciously. The wine menu was extensive."
