Hanoi Hotels with Bars

This is a hidden gem in the midst of the old quarter. A part of Hanoi where a myriad of shops selling a huge range of goods exists next to Hanoi's seemingly endless coffee shops. In very European architecture These small shops are bustling throughout the day. The hotel is nestled comfortably up a side street accessible via both stress, though only one is used by taxis. The staff are extremely friendly and make it their business to ensure the traveller is well looked after. Rooms are clean and come with a stocked fridge with Beer and soft drinks. The air conditioning is superb and in near 40C heat it is so welcoming. The balcony is large. Almost a second room in itself. Sit on the balcony in the evening during a thunder storm and watch the light show in the night sky...tremendous. With the balcony walls being solid, privacy is guaranteed as is safety...not going to fall off this. Breakfast is a pleasant mix of western and Asian. Cold cuts or cooked food. Eggs done by the chef to order. The hotel has a small travel desk so do ask about places to visit. Staff are very knowledgeable. Top tip: get the GRAB or BE app to book your taxis and avoid cab hailing....the risk of being scammed is very high. One final thought...not far is Railway Street. I won't spoli it....go and find out what happens. Get a daily timetable of trains. It is an experience. Highly recommended.

The hotel was excellent in terms of service and location. Though the breakfast food selection was a bit short for a 5-star hotel and the rooms are small, the staff makes up for it with their warm behaviour and service.the rooftop bar and restaurant is an amazing place to have some drinks or dinner. The view overlooking the lake and old quarters becomes breathtaking at night. Highly recommended for comfortable stays. However a bit lower price of the rooms would be great, mainly because of the fact that other hotels with similar price range has bigger rooms and other facilities to offer.

Fantastic service in a beautiful hotel. Wonderful location just next to the scenic lake. Room is sufficiently spacious for single business travel. Not sure if the amenities is good as was not able to use them.

Great experience at La nueva boutique hotel. Especially thanks to the wonderful staff: Jenny and Jimmy. There were helping me before the trip ( booking for example the pickup at the airport), during ( booking a day trip to Nihn bihn and answering all questions ) and even afterwards ( keeping our luggage during our cruise in Lan ha bay after having done the check out ). We stayed too during the tet festival and it was great the new year eve dinner and the fireworks from the rooftop. Views were super from there. The room was fine, maybe not too big but the beds were most comfortable. Totally recommend it and would come back. It was only 5 min walking to the lake. Easy place too to be picked up for excursions.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Pullman Hotel Hanoi, Vietnam, and it was a great experience! From the moment I set foot in the hotel, I was deeply attracted by the elegant environment and thoughtful service here. First of all, as soon as you enter the lobby, you are attracted by the spacious and bright space and exquisite decoration, which feels very comfortable and warm. Especially when it came to check-in, Phuong Anh was very helpful to me and I am very grateful to her. The rooms are very spacious, well laid out and fully equipped. The bed was soft and comfortable, giving me a good night's sleep. The bathroom is also very clean and tidy, and the toiletries are of high quality and very reassuring to use. In terms of service, it makes me feel the warmth of home. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and check-in and check-out are very quick and efficient. Here I have to mention Phuong Anh again, her thoughtful service really impressed me. In addition, the hotel's dining is also worth mentioning. Breakfast is rich in variety and tastes. It is highly recommended to the friends who will come here for business or travel, I believe you will also love here!

the hotel itself is amazing. the amenities are fantastic and the staff are very welcoming and professional. breakfast is good too. rooftop bar and pool are the highlight and it is very close to the majority of the tourist spots

The hotel was stunning and the staff were overly friendly. The room was clean and best bed/mattress ever!!! A little disapointed as we had booked the Chic Deluxe Room which on the site shows there is a window with a view and a beautiful bathtub, however we got a room that had no bathtub and the window was just pretend with the view of the side of the building. When we checked in and realised it was too late and not worth mentioning as we were only there one night. Other than that, couldnt fault the hotel

There are some stains on some of the towels,which can be improved. Though, everything else was clean. The breakfast was pretty decent and the restaurant has a nice view. The staff were nice and helpful, too. Overall, it was a good experience.

Exquisite hotel with wonderful Staff and facilities. The French colonial history is showcased in a twice nightly tour of the hotel and grounds. Even if you miss that the staff are proudly knowledgeable and share nuggets of history as you are taken through the beautifully restored property and grounds. Breakfasts are sumptuous (and the Sunday sitting includes complimentary Buck’s Fizz), the restaurants offer great food choices and the location provides perfect access to the old quarter, lakeside walks and cool shopping vibes.
