WWengKeatNice hotel at good location with walking distance to train station street, old quarters, and many others spots with surrounding of good and famous restaurants. Young staff mostly and all are polite, passionate, helpful and attentive. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Hanoi. Breakfast is simple yet good - they serve pho and omelette. There is also a nice comprehensive map provided by the hotel on all the destinations so no worries if you come unprepared.

AAnonymous UserPerfect service from the time we check in to check out. We had to leave the hotel at 6am for the airport and the front desk was kind enough to provide for us bento boxes without we asking for them.
Front desk clearly explained the facilities available at the hotel and even provided us with the map that highlighted nearby attractions and interesting places to go. The location of the hotel was perfect. Eating places, cafes, money changers, DIY laundry shops were all around the hotel area.
Two things the hotel could improve were that the price of the transport offered to the airport is very high and that our room on the 3rd floor needs to leave the shower water on for few minutes before we able to get the supply of hot water.....minor inconveniences compared to the joy we had in staying in the hotel.
To summarise, we will definitely book the hotel for our return visit to Hanoi.

GGuest UserWe stayed at hotel chateau de hanoi for 2 nights and overall, it was an under-average experience. For its price (pre-discount and considering we were in Vietnam) it might not be that worth it.
We booked the hotel because of its high-rated reviews and its branding as a 5 star boutique hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks and the staff was friendly. We arrived hanoi quite early, so we asked if we could do an early check-in. We were informed by the staff that an early check-in was not impossible, but there was an extra charge. It was however totally understandable that the hotel has their arrangements so we went along with the regular check-in time, but the staff quite passive aggressively told us that they informed us on WhatsApp— we were on a flight and later on a Grab to the hotel so we were unable to read the message entirely. I would expect a 5-star service to be more understanding.
To be very honest, I would doubt if the hotel qualifies to be categorized into a 5-star hotel. Of course, the hotel provides customers with all the necessary amenities like toothbrush and shaving kits, but the hotel room didn’t have a window and lighting was insufficient. There was a bathtub, but there was no proper standing shower and it was just a shower head next to the toilet without curtains or doors. The twin bed was extremely small and too easy to be moved around (in a sense that if I wanted to sit at the edge of bed, the mattress would slide to that side).
Hygiene was fine but some areas such as the wall and the bathing area could be improved. We ran out of tissue paper in the room as well but after housekeeping the box was still empty and not replaced with a new box of tissue. Soundproofing at the hotel was not solid since we could constantly hear noises from next door during midnight.
In our booking package free breakfast was included, so we checked it out in the morning. A small buffet was provided, but the plates and utensils had oil on them. There was a set menu, but the scrambled eggs were not up to par and the pho was okay. Considering the hotel brands itself as a 5-star hotel, I would expect better hygiene and quality check.
Location-wise, the hotel is located at the heart of Old Quarter. It is convenient but this also means traffic can get very hectic nearby. Moreover we realized the staff was getting less and less friendly as we reached the end of our stay. It would be nice if their attitude and service could be more consistent, again, given it is a 5-star hotel.

The hotel itself is spotless and very well-kept. What really stood out, however, was the staff—they were incredibly friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and valued.
The location is ideal for exploring Hanoi's Old Quarter, with everything within easy walking distance. We particularly loved being just a short stroll from the lake, allowing for a beautiful morning walk each day.
We also made time to visit the spa, which was a lovely and relaxing treat.
Overall, a brilliant hotel that we would highly recommend and would not hesitate to book again.

The check-in process and welcome were exceptionally warm, thoughtful, and attentive. I also had the pleasure of meeting the lobby manager, who had spent a decade working in China and possessed a profound understanding of Chinese history and culture.

PpinkrippleThe location is near the Hoan Kiem Lake, which is convenient for access. The hotel service is really good. We arrived at midnight, and we called in advance to inform the hotel in case we didn't know. At 1:30 in the middle of the night, the hotel front desk immediately came out to open the door for us and carry our luggage. Every time we came back from outside, someone would ask if we needed a drink to cool off, which was very considerate.
The room was clean and the space was large enough. The hotel breakfast didn't have many varieties but the products were very good, the pho was great, and the fruit was fresh.

GGuest UserRecently I spent 3 nights in Sapa and before returning to Singapore, spent a night in Hanoi at the La Siesta Boutique Hotel. The experience was a great one.
When we checked in, Ms Huyen Anh attended to us. She was conversant in both English and Chinese and took our questions patiently and answered them well. I feel she is a gem to the hotel.
On the next day, my missus misplaced her Hp in the Grab taxi on the way to the hotel but we were able to recover the Hp both through the help of the staff in the Red Bean Restaurant (which was housed on the 11th floor of the hotel) as well as the hotel staff including Ms Huyen Anh.
The food at the Red Bean Restaurant was another thing altogether. Not only was the food great, the service was top notch too. We ended up having our dinner, breakfast and lunch there.
I wish to thank both the staff of the La Siesta Hanoi and the Red Bean Restaurant for their great service and hospitality. Both the hotel and the restaurant have big Hearts.
