Schönes Hotel mit tollem Ambiente,leider wenig freundliches Personal, vor allem beim Frühstück. Der Teller wird einem direkt unter der Gabel weggezogen. Frühstück extrem wenig und lieblos. Kein Käse,kein Rührei oder ähnliches,auch nicht auf Anfrage

Vorweg: ich war schon in vielen Hotels dieser Kette. Buchung unkompliziert wie immer. Seht gute Lage. Freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption. Zimmer wie üblich eingerichtet. Nicht gut: Doppelzimmer mit 2 Personen gebucht, aber nur 1 Duschtuch und 1 Handtuch vorhanden gewesen. Zudem auch nur 1 Bettdecke. Frühstück mit überschaubarer Auswahl - wohl aufgrund des Platzmangels; da gibt in anderen Hotels von Motel One viel mehr Auswahl. Fazit: ok, aber Verbesserungspotential vorhanden.

Bereits beim Betreten der Lobby fühlten wir uns auch in diesem Motel One wohl. Obwohl das Hotel gut belegt war, war aus den benachbarten Zimmern kaum etwas zu hören. Die Fenster zur Straße halten fast alle Geräusche fern und die Klimaanlage verrichtet ihre Arbeit angenehm leise. In den Betten konnten wir ausgezeichnet schlafen. Wegen der Auslastung hatten beim Frühstück gewisse Engpässe erwartet. Dem war aber nicht so. Die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke ist ausgezeichnet. Vielen Dank an die freundlichen Mitarbeitenden.

Excellent location, close to the train station, the pedestrian zone, and the opera. The hotel is beautifully designed. The rooms are rather small and furnished in the typical Motel One style. The reception and bar area are used for breakfast, so there are only a few seats at the dining table (height). When the hotel is fully booked, there simply aren't enough seats. Breakfast costs around €17.00, which is too expensive for the selection offered.

There were significant billing issues. Instead of the agreed-upon price, we were charged more than one and a half times the amount, and the reception staff were more than overwhelmed with the billing process. No fraudulent intent is being suggested, but the entire process seemed utterly unprofessional. It's a shame, because the hotel otherwise didn't leave a bad impression.

We would gladly return to this hotel: although it's located on a busy street, the rooms in the annex (where we stayed) were very quiet, as the windows faced a large, green courtyard. We stayed for two nights, and room service left our room spotlessly clean with fresh towels. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and promptly replenished by the very attentive, friendly staff (we only looked in vain for natural yogurt). The breakfast chef, in particular, created this pleasant atmosphere, as he always found time to exchange a friendly word with guests. We particularly liked the spacious reception area with the evening bar. Other guests also made frequent use of it in the evenings, so the bartenders were "rushing" to fill orders.
