We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were flawlessly polite and helpful, and the majority spoke English well. We were given a free upgrade upon arrival, and the room was spectacular. Everything was spotless, and the bath and shower was wonderful. The bed was super comfortable and the view from the panoramic windows was great. It's a little bit out of the way from the bustle of the city, but it was nice to stay somewhere quieter. The buffet had so many great options and staff were always on hand to provide drinks or to help out. We'd love to stay here again!

Ele Jane is in a very good and convenient location. Very close to the Longjing Tea village and in a natural environment. It is like staying in the forest within the city, which is a short DiDi ride away. DiDi’s were easy to hail and we never had to wait long. Our room was upgraded at no cost on arrival. We arrived early and left our luggage at the hotel to go explore the area. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us very good advice on what the area offers. We connected on WeChat and they were fairly eager to try to communicate in English too despite the language barrier, we appreciate their efforts. They provided us with an English tourist map of the area and advised us on the bus routes etc. As can be seen in the photos the room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was healthy and enjoyable. Limited options but nice. Two suggestions. Provide your foreign guests with the hotel’s location pin and DiDi address. We found it challenging to find the hotel’s address in the DiDi app when we arrived at Hangzhoudong railway station (about 15km away from the hotel.) Once my husband’s DiDi got lost and he was dropped off at an entirely different address. Another suggestion. We stayed two nights and the room was not made up the second day. We were a bit disappointed as it is the first hotel we stayed at that did not provide this cleaning service. We were also disappointed that the swimming pool and hot tub was under maintenance because that was one of the reasons why we booked the hotel in Trip.com. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay. Another bonus was that the beds were comfortable and soft. The hotel is also pet friendly. Not a lot of activities offered for families with small kids, but is is close enough to many other attractions.

The boss was very enthusiastic. He recommended the surrounding food and scenery to us before we set off. It was raining when we went there, so he gave us an umbrella when we went out to play. There is a cafe downstairs. Cakes and scones are delivered every day, and they taste very good. Every day, they deliver water from the Tiger Spring and Longjing tea. Boiling water to make a cup of Longjing tea is very fragrant. Although the floor is a bit old, the boss is very attentive. The toothbrush has soft bristles, the toothpaste is Shuke, and the shampoo is also Aqua Whisper, which is better than the canned shampoo of other brands. The faucet is Kohler with a large water output. The boss turned on the heating before going out, so it was not cold at all when taking a shower. A friend recommended this B&B. I happened to be visiting Hangzhou, so I stayed here for one night. The B&B is very close to the West Lake, and the transportation is convenient. The facilities are complete, the house is clean and tidy, and the room type was upgraded for free when I checked in. There are rich welcome fruits and snacks. I tried to cook self-service dumplings on the night of check-in, and the taste was also very good. The breakfast is also rich, and you can add more if it is not enough. This stay is very satisfactory.

The two bedside table lights can’t be individually controlled. When one is switched on, the other switch on as well. It’s inconvenient when one wishes to sleep and the other wishes to read.
The window (on the window panel) can’t be closed. The traffic noise can be heard constantly.
The room is warm. So in order to sleep, the heater must be switched off. Then the cold seeps into the room and it becomes too cold.
The highest few floors (of the hotel) are commercial offices. Hotel guests not only have to share the lift with them, but also we the hotel staff. I suspect that there aren’t any cargo or staff elevators. This is extremely inconvenient when you wish to use the elevators during office peak hours.
Breakfast is on the 15th floor. The food is average but soy milk is nice.
The toilet bowl is heated and auto-flush. Nice. There’s also a user-friendly control panel which works well.
The shower cubicle has two floor traps. So the water flow is fast. Very good.

The housekeeper Jamie contacted me in advance and arranged everything very well, including turning on the heating in the villa in advance and booking the golf course. Very attentive. KKerryKKKKThis is my second time to see Xixi. You will have different views and experiences when you come at different times. This time I found that all the service staff have changed into Chinese work clothes. The windows in the room and the balcony leading to the outside have added a layer of screens. The overall feeling of the room is much cleaner than the last time. However, due to the large area of the room and mostly solid wood furniture, the cleaning and maintenance costs should be very high. Some details are difficult to be perfect. The breakfast Pianerchuan is as delicious as always. The dishes in the buffet are also very good, but the single-order pastries are not so good. It is recommended to change them. In addition, I would like to thank the big boy from Northeast China, Kris, for answering my questions enthusiastically and patiently since I booked the room, and then took me and my family to visit the room in advance to choose the appropriate room type, and carefully arranged mosquito repellent for the room. This time I really didn’t get bitten by mosquitoes at all. I suggest that if you have any questions or uncertainties, you can directly call the hotel front desk.

AAnna in ChinaIt was my first trip to Hangzhou. I wanted to celebrate my husband’s birthday here and it was totally impromptu. What I was looking for: 1) a closer location to the West lake - to walk there, not to ride; 2) a balcony or courtyard; 3) and/or at least a beautiful view and surroundings; 4) as we love tea and really interested in Chinese tea culture, some tea plantation nearby could be a plus! Not many hotels seemed to meet my requirements and those which fit were way beyond our budget.
Xunzhenshe hotel looked very pretty but their description was not very clear. Anyway, considering that I was booking our room just a day (!) before our arrival on Friday night, Xunzhenshe seemed to be my only choice with just two rooms left. To be honest, I didn’t expect much when we arrived. However, from the beginning the service was outstanding with a personal approach. At the hotel they greeted us as we were VIPs. Celia, an English-speaking lady, who contacted me after my booking, was extremely helpful. She gave us few recommendations about Hangzhou and the area nearby. She showed us the tea plantation just next to the hotel and a room where farmers were drying tea leaves - it was quite short but interesting introduction to the hotel environment.
The hotel itself is owned and managed by a former architect. The building was built based on construction principles of the Song dynasty. As I understand, all ground floor units have their own courtyard. There is a parking lot, a tea room and a restaurant at the hotel. We were given a non-smoking one-bedroom apartment in a quieter part of the hotel and could enjoy our morning tea in our small but elegant courtyard. The apartment was clean with all necessary amenities. There was a kitchen and a dining room with a huge table (we didn’t use this room though). The breakfast buffet was included in the rate, however they offered mostly Chinese food (no problem for us as we love it). Our dinner and breakfast food were delicious!
Also, we so much appreciate totally unexpected birthday presents to my husband. Upon arrival he found a little gift with a touching handwritten birthday message and then birthday noodles were served at the restaurant. So, it was very unique and memorable celebration!
After all, I was really happy with my hotel’s choice.
To conclude what we loved the most about this hotel:

2. Nature and beautiful surroundings
3. Very good location: just next to the West lake park and bridges. Walkable distance to the famous night show Impression and Su Causeway. Not far away to Leifeng pagoda and Longjing and Meijiawu villages.
4. Good Chinese restaurant with a terrace just next to the tea plantation
5. Amazing tea
Me and my husband had a great time in Xunzhenshe. Highly recommend it to those who love places with soul.

As thin as paper! Jinjiang has always said that after so many generations of product upgrades, what is their use? The basic problems are not solved! ! !
