The male front desk agent, surnamed Wang, who checked me in on the first night, was excellent. Later, I forgot something in my room and called the front desk several times over the next few days. Even though I spoke to different female agents each time, the handoff was seamless, and they all knew exactly what was going on. They were extremely helpful with shipping my forgotten items! This hotel is definitely recommended for anyone transferring at the East Station for trains or flights due to their professionalism.

The room's cleanliness was meticulous, with no strange odors, and the mattress firmness was just right. It was very quiet at night. The facilities were well-maintained, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were very convenient to use. The hotel breakfast is worth mentioning! There's a wide variety of options, including porridge, pastries, fruits, and hot dishes, all authentic in taste. Plus, with its excellent location near the East Station, you can still enjoy a leisurely breakfast even if you're catching an early high-speed train. The room was clean and cozy, and the service was thoughtful. Overall, the experience was fantastic. This is definitely our top choice for transit accommodation!

While listed as 5-star on Trip.com, the facilities and service here definitely don't live up to that rating. I asked the staff, and they said it's a 4-star hotel masquerading as a 5-star. Can star ratings just be arbitrarily assigned? Doesn't Trip.com verify these things? The hallways smelled of smoke, and people were even smoking in the elevator. The second floor had a strong cafeteria smell with a hint of mildew. The restaurant's hygiene was subpar; a couple of the dumplings for supper had a noticeable rancid taste. The indoor temperature fluctuated wildly, and the room decor was gaudy. I'd say it's barely worth the 400+ yuan price, but the 5-star rating is misleading.

The staff are warm, patient, and very responsive to requests, providing truly thoughtful service. My overall stay was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this place again when I'm in the East Station area next time!

Overall, it exceeded my expectations. At this price point, many hotels have cramped spaces, but the Hampton's lobby is quite grand, and the decor isn't old-fashioned; it's very new. The breakfast is abundant, and it offers great value for money. The service was excellent! The location is very close to the train station and not far from the core area of Gongshu District. A minor incident: the bottom edge of the bed was a bit high off the floor. When I got out of bed, my foot landed close to the bed frame, and when I stood up, I cut my heel. I hope they can improve this. Also, the hairdryer was too old-fashioned.

The toiletries were from the SAHO series, with a citrusy woody scent. Even the complimentary bottle of water given to us upon checkout made us feel well-cared for until the very end of our trip.
