"Congtai Guest House Location: Adjacent to Congtai Park to the north, across from the New Century Shopping Center, and a 10-minute walk to Handan Road. The overall location is good, the hotel is pleasant, and the three-story building is relatively quiet. Parking: Free parking is available within the courtyard, and there are spaces near each building. No license plate is required, and it's likely free for out-of-town vehicles. Facilities: Large rooms with high ceilings. Smart controls are very convenient. The suite has two bathrooms, with separate wet and dry areas and a smart toilet. The mattress is a comfortable firmness. The shower water isn't large enough, but the temperature is perfect. There's no refrigerator, but the rooms have plenty of water. The tea bar is a bit basic. The Wi-Fi signal in the rooms is spotty. Service: The overall service is excellent, and the staff are generally well-mannered. They provided fruit and snacks. Breakfast: On the first floor of Building 5, the food is plentiful and delicious. There's also a buffet in the evening. Overall, this is an established hotel, reportedly catering to foreign guests, but it's not very new."

"The room was fine, no complaints about that. However, they give us very little toilet paper, and we always have to ask for more. There's no one who speaks English at the reception desk at any time. As with many other hotels in China, the reservation ticket scrambles our long and confusing western names in ways that are undecipherable to most Chinese, and that always creates some tension at the check-in, because the name in the booking form doesn't match EXACTLY the name on the passport. This is a recurrent problem in China, and it happens everywhere, creating delays and embarrassment. The hotel location is fine, as it is just two blocks away from a large shopping mall, the "Miller City". It's overall a good experience, and I'd certainly stay there again."

There were also snacks every day, which were very delicious. It was really good. I will stay at Mingzhu Hotel next time."

The pillows were height-adjustable, the curtains provided excellent blackout, and the double-glazed windows effectively blocked out outside noise, creating a peaceful space to rest after a long journey. Cleanliness was impeccable; even the corners of the room and bathroom were spotless, and public areas were regularly disinfected, making me feel very safe and secure. The breakfast was plentiful, with a good mix of Chinese and Western options, and the fresh, delicious ingredients gave me a great start to the day. The service was a huge plus. The concierge patiently recommended local attractions and transportation, room service was readily available without disturbing my rest, and every staff member was smiling – making me feel truly at home was so heartwarming!"
