Bed made a lot of noise. Then when I went out to get something from my car. A man undressed with the curtains wide opened was starrng at me. Very creepy. I turned my head away. I only noticed as I was walking back to enter the foyer. It was hard not to miss, cuz it was 1st or 2 nd window to entrance. Not at all happy. I should of complained ,but decided to let it go. Creeper.

I like that the surroundings of this hotel is peaceful and not populated. I also like that we can open the windows in our room and get some fresh air.

This motel is good for a one night stay if you are on the Cumberland and Ohio towpath canal trail. Otherwise I would not recommend it. The staff is friendly, they have a hose to wash off your bikes, the bathroom was clean. However, our room smelled like cigarette smoke, the bedding had burn holes in it, the blanket and bedspread seemed like they had not been changed since 1970 and were creepy to the feel, like too many people had used them and you were not sure they were clean. Don't count on breakfast, there were 4 granola bars, the sugary kind, 1 pathetic wrapped Danish, and some sugary cereal. Coffee ran out, all by 7:30 in the morning.

I have NEVER stayed at a worse property. The room was filthy and the fridge was broken. We reported both to the night desk attendant, and nothing was said or done about it. My hetero life mate attempted to fix the fridge (as this is what he does and I DID advise the front desk that it was going to happen) The “included breakfast” was your choice of stale fruit loops, or a cheese danish. A cesspool

Comfortable bed and adequate bathroom. WiFi worked well. TV had a variety of channels. Odor from nearby river was bad and could be offset with air fresheners of some kind that work constantly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient. No coffee available though.

Just stopped in to sleep really. I would note that this place is OLD and there is a reason it’s affordable. Plan on the tv or fridge not working etc. Friendly staff though and they had coffee and snacks in the am. We also checked out Buddy Lou’s Eats and Antiques which was well worth the visit ! Also very cheap with AARP discount online∙

Reliable clean convenient stop over. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything I needed for an unexpected stop. Writing more because my review was cited as too short. Not sure what to add that would be useful to others. If there's more needed, why not ask specific questions. Author: Adult male who is happy with basics.

Heater did not work and required me to move to different room for second night. Had to unplug noisy frig. Bare bones breakfast selections.
