"I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The front desk service was friendly, attentive, and very efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth and welcoming. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes that catered to different tastes. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend!"

"It was already after 10pm when we arrived at the B&B. Although the alley leading to the B&B was quite narrow, we were really surprised after entering the gate of the B&B. The room was clean and tidy, there was free parking in the basement, and the bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water. Our cat liked it very much😊! The boss was very hospitable and loved Hancheng very much. Through the boss' introduction, I also got to know Hancheng again. Ctrip was offering a two-yuan stay, which was a real treat!!! Another point is that the alley of the B&B is right outside the night market, which is very convenient for eating."
Hancheng Yellow River Pearl Hotel
"If there were a zero score, this hotel wouldn't even get a passing grade. It looks nice from the outside, and it's even recommended on Ctrip—all show and no substance. The toilet was dirty, and we called for service for ages without getting a response. Only after we complained did a cleaning lady come. The hotel showed no remorse whatsoever. The cleaning lady claimed the maintenance worker caused the mess. Then who's responsible for the guest rooms, not housekeeping? Such a convenient excuse! There were also cigarette butts—were those also thrown away by the maintenance worker? There were also torn towels, a broken faucet in the bathtub with water spilled everywhere, and clumps of hair on the floor. What a hotel—a master of shifting blame! We checked in at 6 AM and were told check-out was at 2 PM, hoping to extend it so we could rest. But at 12 PM they called to let us check out, claiming the staff who checked us in were new and didn't know the rules. The rules are, the hotel booked the room, so whatever you say goes. Ridiculous!"

"It's a little far from the city center, but it's a small town to begin with, so it doesn't really matter. The ancient town, station, bus terminal, and accommodation are all connected by the city's only bus line. The room was very clean and had air conditioning, but I couldn't use it because there was no remote. (I think air conditioning is an additional charge.) The day after my stay, it was extremely hot, and it would have been difficult without air conditioning, so I decided not to stay overnight and headed to Xi'an. There are frequent trains and buses to Xi'an."
