Loved the attention to details, everyone was so welcoming as soon as we walked in. Room was beautiful, very clean and so relaxing! Loved the details of the coffee beans and the freshly baked cookies in the room! Would go back anytime! The bakery on site is a must!

Attended here for a family wedding. Hotel grounds fantastic with a kitchen garden that they use for ingredients in the food. Numerous sitting areas with plenty of games to keep everyone amused! The wedding breakfast was fantastic, fine dining and beautifully presented. All 3 courses were great but the dessert was my favourite, amazing! The room we stayed in was great, huge living area and a lovely freestanding bath and separate walk in shower. Beds were comfy with nice big pillows! The service throughout the day was impeccable. I find it hard to see how previous reviewers have marked it so low! Would definitely return!

Booked a table at Kynd to celebrate 9th wedding anniversary. On booking advised of couple of food allergies. On arrival very warm, polite and genuine welcome. On being shown to table staff member asked and checked info on allergies on very positive and supportive manner. Great pre dinner drinks, food ordered and food allergies ch cakes again (kitchen adapted starter to support food allergy, appreciated. Very pleased with the food, it's taste, presentation, friendly staff, great ambience of Kynd. Very much enjoyed dinner choices and pudding (shared tipsy cake, delicious). Will done there again. Thanks to all staff both in kitchen and restaurant, thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

At the bakery now which is hopelessly understaffed. As a former hotelier I can honestly say that the staff are disinterested in their roles and one of them took offence when I suggested that more people are required behind the counter and instead just gossiped with her colleague about her hangover whilst the line grew longer. Unprofessional poorly trained staff will ultimately destroy this place.

We had to stay here as our daughter was getting married at a venue nearby, the price of £440 per night for no tv and coffee having to grind your own beans that tasted terrible and no biscuits. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were ridiculous. There was no cold water to drink in the room. You couldn’t ring reception as it was a hotel that had a wedding on and nobody to answer. The service was appalling we arrived with the buggy with the baby and three suitcases with no Porter on hand to help you take the luggage in. This pace is not a hotel it’s just not a 5 star it thinks it is , we felt sorry for the staff the service over the phone before had been very unhelpful ,the left hand don’t know what the right had is doing at this pace . It’s very unhelpful in every way , as a family We have stayed in some Of the best hotels in the world and this is definitely not a 2 star restaurant or hotel in what we experience. We will definitely not be visiting again at All , we found the pillows most uncomfortable and we could not get hold of reception or room service. Breakfast took over an hour to receive hot food . We had to order a banana a day in advance! For our children as they don’t have them . There is clearly not enough staff on duty and we did feel sorry for them . No cold water in the fridge just milk .we do say that the wedding organisers are very young and inexperienced in the field. I would suggest that anyone looking for a wedding venue no look elsewhere as the travel to the hotel Is very busy as they are building a new road system for the next few years that makes it very difficult to and at night time the roads are closed toget to of the M6 motorway.is all we can say as a large family avoid this establishment!!! We have not written this lightly and feel for the people having to work here 1 staff member did say to us there are too many weddings here , that speaks for its self and you areoffered cold coffee and paper cups from adispenser In this 5 star place. As a family we don’t write this lightly with out giving it thought.

Kind was excellent. A really nice menu, superb wine list and great service from delightful staff. Will be back again as this was our first visit, Not pretentious at all but really excellent menu. We went for the alacarte rather than the tasting menu but was really nice. The Chablis and the st emilion was excellent

Really surprisingly great place and I’m quite choosy! Lovely staff, beautiful room, and they very kindly posted me a treasured possession I managed to leave behind. Lovely food too. I was really impressed.

My wife and I stayed one night on our way south. We arrived quite late, but were met by friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the annex which was very comfortable and quiet with the added novelty of an outdoor bath. The excellent service continued after we left as trainers we had left behind were posted back to us with the minimum of fuss. We very much look forward to staying again in the future.

We had a voucher from our daughters, which had expired due to my being in hospital. Hampton Manor we’re kind enough to roll it forward to 2025. Enjoyed our anniversary Sunday lunch. Started with scallops, which were superbly presented with a tasty sauce. Didn’t fancy a roast so both had skate: very tasty, again with a brilliant sauce. Desserts were equally good All in all a very pleasant experience. They even offered to box our surplus vegetables to form another meal at home.
