Home2 Suites by Hilton Hammond

This was a good clean room with a very nice kitchen area. The utilization of space gave a lot more space to set things in, making it very helpful. The fridge actually had a separate freezer. The hotel posted quiet hours which was very good because in the morning we could hear our neighbors through the walls. The buffet breakfast was very good. Several restaurants are very close.

I stayed here while enjoying visit with family during Thanksgiving. My suite looked just like the photos, it smelled fresh, my bed was comfortable and cozy. I felt safe and secure entering and existing in the evening. The staff provided excellent service. I ate breakfast here a couple of days and choose eat at nearby places a couple days because I wanted something different. The hotel is right off a main highway, easy to move around Indiana and clse to Illonois. Staying here worked well for me.

The facilities are nice, room was good, bed comfortable. BUT we stood at the front desk for 20 minutes when we got there waiting to check in. Then my daughter left her headphones in the room and they "disappeared".

Seems like a newer Home2 thats located right off the interstate. While that makes for some road noise, the ease of getting to and from the hotel makes up for it. The room was very clean and comfortable. The area was safe and has a few restaurants and hotels surrounding it. They do however make you sign documents saying you won't party or smoke and place a hold on your card. Feel this hotel must have some issues with rowdy guests, but in my stay that wasn't an issue. Stayed here after attending a Blackhawks game and the ride wasn't bad at all.

Receptionist created a new reservation instead of using my existing booking. It resulted in me getting double charged for my stay. Booked on a corporate card. Didn't notice the duplicate expense. Site team is refusing to refund despite Hilton customer support continuing to tell me I'd be getting my refund. Apparently the site is refusing despite multiple connections with the Hilton customer support team. See what being a loyal Hilton customer gets you...

My room was not available for me at 6pm

Property was nice, front desk staff was very uninformative. The manager was awesome though!

Was a great location and property

Great hotel just hated that I had a double charge hold on my card upon checking in when I only approved $100. Staff wasn’t much help at all. I was extremely dissatisfied with that experience.
