It was in no way a conventional 5* hotel, it's a "tunisian 5* hotel", the stuff are 50/50, communicating with you only if you're either tunisian or giving them money, the room is big and empty, usually badly maintained, beds are very rigid and only single without even the possibility of transforming into a twin bed, the food is very basic with a minimal choice and slow serving creating lines of waiting people, outside the dining hours there is basically nothing to eat, the pools're not heated, with sand (bad cleaning), working from 10 to 18 "officially", unsupervised children everywhere, the booz is either too diluted or too concentrated, depend on your luck with the bar, there is no fresh juices or a variety of non alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee are undrinkable.
The is no medical help, and they dont even help you with organising it (thank god we had a good insurance).
The hotel imposes on you a ton of rules upon arrival, but none of theme are respected later on buy anyone.
If you have to travel to Tunisia and want to fell kinda 5*, then maybe it's your choice, otherwise i dont recommend neither the country nor this hotel.

BON HOTEL MAIS CRAFAR QUI SE PROMENAIT AU COULOIR ET CLIMATISATION INEXISTANTE
Hôtel en générale très bien mais il faut perfectionner les détails. Inadmissible voir un crafar qui courrait sur le long du couloir et avec une température chaude se faire dire qu'on a le chauffage. On est sorti de l'hôtel pour aller ailleurs. La nuit on a dormi avec la porte du balcon ouverte pour la chaleure

Actually I met Islam one of the animation team she’s very smart girl she helped me a lot . Thank u Islem ❤️❤️🙏 I loved the pool , the food the bar stuff they are very nice . It’s very clean

The hotel and grounds are very well kept, we stayed in a bungalow which was kept spotlessly clean, nice bedding and towels. The entertainment team work really hard. Unfortunately the food really didn’t hit the mark. The staff had no idea about cross contamination when cooking chicken using the same utensils. I had to remind the head waiter & head chef to turn the chilled food buffet counters on! The food had been sat for hours and the restaurant was very warm. There were insufficient serving tongs and people picked up food with their hands. The quality of the meats were poor. The hot joints were never hot, just tepid. Most of the food was served at warm, not hot temperatures. The unused food reappeared the following days. The chef making paella used his hands to throw the prawns and chicken into the pan, didn’t wash his hands or change his gloves, then served soup to another customer. As an ex food safety officer I did not expect this from a 5* hotel. If you have allergies beware, there is no info on the contents of the dishes. I raised these issues with the hotel manager, I have yet to get a reply.

We came away for a relaxing break & we've certainly had that in this beautiful hotel. Our room is probably the largest we've ever had. Super comfy king size bed, beautiful white sheets , changed whenever you request. Large towels. Water & soft drink left each day too which is a nice touch. The restaurant is a lovely space, I personally live the lighting & the very comfortable seating. The variety is very good, lovely & tasty. The drinks have been fine for us , Rose wine is quite nice , gin & tonics & love on the beach have been our go to. We're not ones for joining in with the activities but the entertainment team are all very friendly, especially Prince & Lala. We came to this hotel on recommendation from friends & were not disappointed, we will return im sure.
