Everything was fine. If there would be someone to clean the camel and the horse **** from the beach would be perfect.

The food and staff are excellent. In general, the furniture in the rooms is a bit outdated, but all in all, highly recommended.

I really appreciated this place which is clean and quiet. However, we waited 1 hour before getting our room. And it's just unbearable in 37 degree heat.

The only redeeming feature of this hotel is the staff they go out of their way to help you and make you comfortable. That is what the star is for. Other than that I have nothing positive to say about this hotel. I booked it through Love Holiday and it was advertised as a 4 star hotel. This is not the case. I would say it's barely a 2 star. The hotel is very dated, barely lit. Everything about it is dark and dingy. Our room overlooked the main reception area, which was very noisy. The room we were given was one which had not been updated, and bared no resemblance to the one advertised on Love Holidays. Yhe tpilet wpuldnt flush properly. The beds were rock hard, bedding stained, furnishing very dated. There was one single electrical socket in the room. The all inclusive drinks were very limited. The pools weren't clean and the water slides were out of use, which was probably a good things as the looked like they should have been condemned. WiFi would not work in the rooms, we had to go into reception or sit in the corridor outside our room to get a signal. The gaming area and pool table had all seen much better days. The deciding factor in my decision to leave after 1 night was down to inappropriate comments made towards my by an inebriated guest who thought it was okay to be suggestive in front of my two children. As a single parent traveling with my sons for the first time I felt Vulnerable When raised with love Holidays I was advised to raise it with redeption and provide a description. I did and was told that there were a lot of handball teams in due to a tournament and they would be gone in a couple of days then I wouldn't need to worry. I was not prepared to do that, so found alternative accommodation at Sentido Phenicia Hotel and checked out within 12 hours of checking in. I have supplied some photos but honestly, they don't look as bad as it actually was.
Response from Property: Hello E7441DTnataliet, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we are sincerely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, we would like to clarify a few important points. First and foremost, we’re pleased to read that you appreciated the efforts of our team. Our staff consistently strives to offer warm hospitality and attentive service to all our guests, and we’re glad this was evident to you. Regarding the rest of your comments, we are genuinely surprised. Upon check-in, you were personally asked if everything was satisfactory with your room, and you confirmed that it was. At no point during your very short stay of approximately 12 hours did you raise any concerns directly with our reception about the room, the facilities, or any discomfort caused by other guests. Had we been made aware of any issue, especially one as serious as feeling unsafe, we would have acted immediately to support and assist you. It’s also important to note that you arrived at night and departed the following morning, which makes it unclear how you had time to fully experience or evaluate so many aspects of the hotel, including pools, entertainment areas, and general facilities. We understand that your decision to leave was influenced by your children’s wishes and your personal preferences, which is completely respected—but this does not necessarily reflect the true value or quality of the hotel. As for the star rating, our classification complies with local tourism standards and includes numerous amenities and services that meet the 4-star criteria, including pools, entertainment options, and various dining and bar services. Of course, we are continuously working to update and maintain our facilities, and constructive feedback is always welcomed. We regret that you did not give us the opportunity to assist you during your stay and hope that your future travels bring you a more satisfying experience. The Hammamet Garden Resort & Spa Team

Would not have given this hotel a single star but had to, booked a 10 nights stay through loveholidays but only stayed for 1, pictures on the website are very deceiving as when we arrived we found all outdoor amenities including pool, poolbar and childrens pool with slides CLOSED, the water in the pools was only fit for crocodiles, the room was outdated and only contained a fridge fit for the scrap heep, the dining room wasn't even half open and had very little choice for an all inclusive destination, in the short time we were there we were harassed by staff to buy day excursions and spa, the indoor pool although open was very small and more like a sauna. The only good point was the bar and reception staff who were polite and helpful.

Response from Property: Hello Steve C, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Please note that, prior to arrival, we informed the agency you booked through about the seasonal closure of some outdoor facilities. During this period, our indoor heated swimming pool remains available for guests’ use. As for the room, we regret that it did not meet your preferences. Our rooms are regularly maintained, and we are currently working on gradual updates across the hotel. Regarding the restaurant, our buffet is adapted to occupancy levels and always aims to provide balanced, varied meals with both local and international options. We are also sorry to hear that you felt pressured by staff. Our teams sometimes inform guests about available services such as spa treatments or excursions, but we will reinforce the importance of doing so respectfully. On a positive note, we appreciate your kind words about our bar and reception staff — we will be sure to pass along your compliments. The Hammamet Garden Resort & Spa Team

I visited this hotel last year for my 30th birthday and it was absolutely horrendous. It’s taken me this long to want to leave a review because I didn’t even want to think about it. Food was awful. Hotel itself was an absolute mess. A desolate hole not worth visiting. Live wires in the pool. Vomit left on the corridors of the hotel. No carpets in the hallways. I could go on and on. Please DON’T BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!! I cried every night wanting to leave and ran back to the coach when it was time to go back to the airport.

Definitely not 4 star. Run down, very dirty, poo in the pool which they picked out by a net but did not clean the pool. The dining room was disgusting, dirty tables, chairs,no clean cutlery, dirty plates, cockcroach crawled up my daughters leg in the dining room. All inclusive was very limited and the hotel ran out of beer on draught, paper cups, broken rimmed glasses no ice and bottled water was warm. Entertai ment staff were taking people's phones take there picture and then writing their own 5 star reviews which is fraud. Advertised with a swim up bar but it is not. We were a party of 11 and everyone in the hotel complained about the cleanliness, staff, food etc. In its day it would have been a lovely hotel as the decor is nice but very run down, neglected and extremely dirty. We went out to eat due to the unclean conditions. Booked through love holidays who basically refunded everyone who complained including the other people in our party of 11. When we complained they did not want to know and the hotel told them we had been upgraded to a sea view no no no. Front of hotel view looking out onto the drive way.

Most of the staff are lovely, professional and hard working, they always welcome you with a smile and make sure you have everything you need. The only two members of staff I had an issue with was the man on reception, he is extremely rude, unprofessional and very dismissive. Just avoid him if you can! The other member of staff was a lifeguard who I had to shout at as I witnessed him pulling a female member of staff by the arm and pushing her around. He laughed in my face and other male members of staff said he was just joking around. I had to tell him that this is not how you treat women and to leave her alone. All the children stood around me were very scared of him. The room is very dated and everything seems to be falling apart but it is kept clean. The cleaners work hard and change your room every day which I think was over the top. We just asked for fresh towels and water. The bed was rock hard so I didn't have a single full night sleep, my ribs still hurt, however the two single beds were fine for the children. there was mould around the bath and we just used the shower as the jets on the bath didn't look like they had been cleaned for a few years. Everything was rusty and old in the bathroom. Paintwork is done to low standard and it just looks old. I didnt mind the decor, it just looked badly kept. We always avoided the downstairs toilets by the dining hall as it always stunk of faeces. People weren't using tissue, and just cleaning with the sprayer, which just soaked all the floors all the time. On the final day we had to use the loo to change as it was a late flight, and I had to hold my breath it was so so bad. Around the pool always stunk of the same foul smell. There are 4 pools, the main pool is a nice size but often overcrowded, the pool with the flumes is quite dangerous but it's ok if you want to go for a swim in the shade. there is a baby pool that is clearly never cleaned, and an indoor pool that looked like it was permanently closed. Didn't struggle getting a sunbed most afternoons but people did put towels down and then leave for the day. The food and dining experience was the worst part of the holiday. All 4 of us have had the trotters all week. The food is so so bad, I ended up just having fried eggs for breakfast with a roll and a chip butty for tea as that is the only edible food that was there. They serve the meat with all the bones still in there, i'm surprised noone choked on a bone. It is the same food EVERY SINGLE DAY and it is always overcooked, dry, and no meat!! Everything is served on the bone with couscous or some form of pasta. The only thing my children actually liked was the chips and ice cream. They tried everything, they always do wherever we go, but it was all just nasty. One woman said she went to a restaurant and the food was just as bad. Another woman went somewhere else and spent over 400 dinar for a meal. After an intimidating walk around the old medina with my son, we decided to stay in the hotel, be
