Sydney Junction Hotel

If you are a backpacker then this hotel is right for you. By the way, you'd better have $200 cash in your pocket or they will demand to photocopy your credit card! Are you kidding me SJH? The reason, they suspect the people that stay there will, 'trash the room! Apparently it does happen. Also, be prepared for hallway doors that will bang away until late, and start again early. If you are not a backpacker, stay else where! PS. The staff are friendly and helpful!

Noisy both in the premises and outside. Bathroom facilities barely adequate no mirror Hallway and doors loud

Great simple accomodation for a night in the city. Train station right next door and awesome artist and food in pub downstairs.

I stayed here for 2nights excellent customer service from the staff from check in to eating in the restaurant l had chicken Maryland well cooked by chef Joss who takes care with the way he presents his food masterfully cooked l was most impressed see by the photos all the staff take great pride in making sure all customers needs meet thankyou to all l will be back next month for a week

Handy location. Simple rooms. Need shelves in the shower’s for clothes as floor puddles everywhere

The food was really good, nice clean pub, friendly staff. our accommodation was just 4 beds couldn't find the remote for the tv, cups and coffee and tea no jug no common room no cold water tap in bathroom, we were passing through and didnt expect much but was over $200 for one night travelled with 2 kids was very dissapointed, Staff were great

Pros: -beds are comfortable and sheets, towels and room carpets look clean -parking was convenient (in the back of the building) -the AC conditioning worked properly and there was a mini fridge in the room Cons: -it wasn’t mentioned in the description of those hotel on ******* that for the price over $150 US dollars you get a room with no shower/toilet . The shared amenities on the floor include two shower stalls, two toilets and one (!) sink for 15 rooms. The showers have NO HOT WATER! - The rooms are tiny and very minimally furnished, which would be totally fine with us, but the walls are paper thin and there was a huge gap in the glass shades on the window, so that for the whole night it felt like trains from outside of the street and people in the corridor are going right through your room. There was a small TV above one of the beds but no remote, so I am not sure if it was working. Also there were sticks of instant coffee and sugar in the room but no kettle or coffee maker. Why would you need coffee supplies then? - Half of the night starting around 2 am someone (without a key card I guess) was banging the door downstairs trying to get in. - The rooms have COCKROACHES!!! If you read my other reviews for other hotels that I have stayed at in 40 countries you would understand that I am not a picky traveler, but this Australian hotel I will remember for a long time .
