Super 8 by Wyndham Hamburg Mitte Reviews

I was there for 2 nights. Location was good and room was also cozy and nice. All things are good except the amenities. It would be good if they should provide tea kettle with tea bags. There was only 1 small bottle of water as a welcome drink and they never refill it. There was no toothpaste in the toilet. Breakfast was also good but they should charge €10 but instead they are charging €15. Rest is good and recommended.

Shower and bathroom was nice and clean. The double bed we booked was just two mattresses next to each other. The bedding had a huge yellow stain on it. The only amenities were hand soap and a body wash/ shampoo mix. Our key card didn't work and had to go down to the desk three times before it was fixed. When we booked it said breakfast included but after we booked it said no meals and they wanted 30€ for adding breakfast. There are less expensive hotels closer to the main city area so for this price I'd say it isn't worth it.

Far from professional staff, absolutely clean rooms without even a decent bathroom door, or even doorknob for that matter, not too far from city center location, though all in all, not worthy of the price per night at all.

Very well-facilitated and close to the center. However, the surroundings are a bit quiet and eateries are quite far from the hotel.

The hotel is a 15 to 20 minute walk from the Berliner Tor S-Bahn station. Since there is a huge construction site in and around the S-Bahn station, the walk can take longer, especially if you are traveling with suitcases. Some of the paths are not tarred or paved. Pedestrian crossings keep you on your toes. The hotel is located in a quiet side street. Check-in service was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Everything in the bathroom was top notch. There was a bar in the lobby where you could also get snacks and pizza. The breakfast room was next door. All in all, it was a nice and good stay in the hotel.

Compared with the Super 8 in China, it is cleaner and the room doesn't have any peculiar smell. It is good value for money.

They could have put a wardrobe, there is no wardrobe as it is 4 stars

For reasons unknown to me, I was given a room for the disabled. I wasn't happy about that because rooms like this lack attractive furnishings. In addition, the room had other deficiencies: 1) the sink was clogged and the water drained very slowly (see photo) 2) the towel had brownish stains (see photo) 3) in the shower you stood over a drain closed by a metal grille (see photo). This gave off unpleasant smells that wafted into your nose when showering and made you sick. I cannot recommend the hotel and advise against booking a room there.

The breakfast at the hotel is very good. There is a supermarket nearby. The hotel staff are also very helpful.

The location is not bad, the breakfast was not to my taste. Lack of a closet in the room may be a problem for crowded and long stays.

I would like to commend you for the first-class service I experienced during my stay at your hotel. From the warm welcome at reception to the comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation, I felt completely at home. The entire staff was extremely friendly, courteous and always ready to fulfill my wishes. I was particularly impressed by the variety and quality of the food on offer in the hotel's restaurant. Every meal was a true taste experience. The spa and fitness area were also excellently equipped and offered the perfect opportunity for relaxation and recreation. I would like to thank you and your team again and will not hesitate to stay at your hotel again on my next visit to the city.
