I have a good stay here. The location is strategic. Just opposite the Eastleigh train station. The staff are friendly.

So I went there on Thursday 18th- Sunday 21st January. Myself and my husband got there and was greeted very politely by a lovely lady at the reception. We got to the room and was happy with everything. The only downside to the hotel is they don’t have dining services but there is a spoons next door. The staff are delightful and especially to the lady on Thursday (I can’t remember her name) and the 2 receptionists working on Thursday night :)

Functional hotel, adequate for a work trip. The rooms have showers not baths. Only 30min wifi is included in the price of the room. Free overnight parking at a car park nearby but be careful to park in the correct one.

Room is a little dirty and old, it’s only a small window, but the location is nice.

Unfortunately I am unable to comment on the inside of the hotel. On arriving at the location we found that the car parks within walking distance of the hotel had no parking available. This meant we were forced to book into another well known hotel chain with parking on site. Although we are regular visitors to Eastleigh I will not be booking to stay here again, as I cannot take the risk of having no where to park.

On returning to to the hotel at 11pm the key card wouldn’t to let me in and no staff answered the night buzzer. Ended up sleeping in my car, very dissatisfied. Travelodge have issued a full refund and apologised.

I stayed here for my work in early March. The check in process is smooth and easy, plus the staff are very helpful and accommodating. I have to give special mention to Mandy, who printed out a large document for me on request, saving me from hunting down a printer, which was extremely helpful. The central location is ideal if you need the station and it's close proximity to shops makes it ideal if you're working away. The rooms are clean and well looked after. Highly recommended.

Excellent for business trips. Good restaurants nearby, park very close, is near the Eastleigh train station. Has a vending machine near the reception. Staff is very friendly. I can recommend the breakfast you can buy from the reception. Overall excellent!

Checked in at this hotel for a one-night stay. Around 2 hours later the receptionist let herself into my room without knocking and without my permission. She had checked me in earlier so knew I would be there. There is no excuse. I am utterly appalled.

Situated opposite the train station, and next to a A Weatherspoons, this was ideally located for our visit to The Point. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and check in was very easy. The room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. The only very minor complaint was the lack of air conditioning made it necessary to have the window open and, being opposite the train station and on the landing approach to the airport, this made the room a bit noisy. As we were next to a Weatherspoons, we opted to not have a breakfast box. As there was nothing to pay upon departure, checkout was simply a matter of dropping our room key into a box and saying goodbye. If you want a cheap and cheerful hotel, within easy reach of transport links and the shopping area or The Point, then this is perfect. Just remember it is a Travelodge and is therefore basic, but it is clean and tidy and you definitely get more than you pay for!
