Location: Toss-up not necessary to choose among other lodging places when allocating more than two days to enjoy SFO metro and the NorCal coast with an allocated day for each! Rooms/Cleanliness: The lavatory sink is clogged, yikes! Being in a beach town, bugs are expected, but very evident no fumigation maintenance is done. I feel the cleaners may be doing the best, but the facility's condition is already on its rundown and needs major upgrade. Service: Loida is pleasant during the phone inquiry. Oz is accommodating. The morning hotel lead/manager can use little congeniality and energy. The breakfast can use (1) some hot fresh oatmeal and should not costs much (investing in a crocker pot and quaker oats should not be hard), and some pastries and fresh fruits in nearby Safeway, c'mon guys, I'm not asking for the sky, that is comparing from your other ChoiceHotels facilities. Value: Considering the above review, overpriced!

Convenient location. We had a room at the back (away from Highway 1 traffic noise) with a king bed. It was very spacious & the vanity area was well lit. Shower pressure was good. Some of the towels were on the thin side, but they were changed daily. The windows opened, including the bathroom window. That's always a plus. The room appeared clean, but the tiled floor in the vanity/sink area was sticky. There wasn't any visible dirt, so I assumed it wasn't totally rinsed. The furnishings were adequate, though they looked a bit well worn. The carpet had stains (bleach?), as did the bedspread. Our room's Wi-Fi signal was strong, but weak in the neighboring room. Continental breakfast was a nice perk. Check-in staff was very welcoming.
