Lovely resort

The facilities were what stood out at this hotel, from the complimentary red bean soup and crackers post-ski, to the beautiful public and private onsen with free ice pop and coffee milk, to the ping-pong table that our boys enjoyed in the evening. We booked the evening meals package with Ctrip which made it very convenient to have dinner in the hotel. The food was delicious although there was too much of it and it took 90mn to complete the course. I wish there was a casual Japanese restaurant onsite. The two bedroom junior suite gave a lot of extra space and privacy 👍🏻. What we found strange was that our room was ready by 1:30pm and our luggages were in but we weren’t allowed in until 3pm. Please make a conscious effort not to loose the hotel key card as they charge ¥3,000 for a lost keycard. That last note put a dim on our otherwise great stay.

Playground is very fun. Kid enjoy playing the snow. French restaurant dinner is good. Onsen superb.

The Onsen is good. The only downside is wearing the in house Japanese yukata is prohibited in restaurants and some area. It is not that convenient to change clothing back and forth.

Friendly staff, great hot springs, good food, comfortable facilities.

Excellent resort

The hotel is very clean and convenient for skiing. It is also close to the ski resort and you can soak in hot springs. There are both indoor and outdoor hot springs. The hotel is very humane and the lobby lounge provides tea breaks all day.

It's the second time I stayed here after 5 years. Because the price increased so much during the Chinese New Year, I only stayed for one night, but the children still liked it very much. They could find candies to eat, and there were snacks in the evening. There was milk and ice cream in the hot springs. I was satisfied with everything. Although the hotel is old, it is well maintained. The hot springs have a light smell of sulfur. Every day after skiing, the snacks and hot springs are super comfortable. The only drawback is that the location is a little bit off. You can either take the hotel shuttle or the ski resort shuttle to go out.

This hotel has unbeatable snow scenery and great service. Although Hakuba is inconvenient for transportation, the hotel has free shuttle buses to various distribution points in Hakuba. You still need to take the bus to the two nearby ski resorts, but we were lucky that day and met a free car with the word Sera printed on it to take us to Tsugaike. I don't understand what the mechanism is. The hotel has free popcorn, wine, sake, apple juice, red bean soup, milk, coffee, oden, curry rice, ice cream, etc., which can basically meet all the needs of a short stay. The best thing is the floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby, which are very photogenic and very friendly for families with children who love to play in the snow. They can watch over their children indoors with the heater on. The comments all said that the dinner was average, so I booked the hotel's car to go to Roujiang, a super delicious barbecue restaurant, highly recommended, but reservations must be made in advance.

Food: Dinner is really average, especially the steak for the main course, which is upgraded to wagyu, but the sauce seems to be eating braised pork, or the taste of fat, too greasy. But the dining environment is really beautiful, you must sit by the window.

The snow view of the hotel is very charming. There are free snacks and hot red bean soup, which is good! Dinner is included in the room fee. French Western food is only for steak. Very exquisite. Breakfast is very poor. There are very few things. I would rather eat cup noodles than go to the restaurant the next day. But the hotel is very old and shabby. The facilities are the hotel facilities of China 20 years ago, and the four-person suite costs more than 7,000 a night. The shower room in the room has no exhaust, which makes the whole room extremely smelly. The whole room is very shabby. Spraying a lot of perfume can't cover it. The attitude of the ** Japanese man who booked the dinner at the Western restaurant was very bad. The first night was arranged in the snow view lobby. The second night was arranged in a small private room next to the lobby, with four walls inside. The last table of 6-7 people was dining. I asked him why he sat inside, and there were all empty seats outside. Why didn't he let us sit. He couldn't explain. He said he had to sit inside anyway. Later, he called a girl who could speak English. He rejected us with all kinds of unreasonable questions. He said that someone had booked something. The whole lobby was empty. Later, after our negotiation, he saw that we were very determined and helped us arrange it outside. So I seriously suspect that the man at the front desk of this restaurant is somewhat anti-Chinese!

From the perspective of facilities, it is definitely a hotel that exceeds Hakuba's expectations. After all, it has an outdoor private hot spring, which is better than most small hotels. The room is large enough, and the free drinks and meals are also rich. But if you are here for skiing, I suggest not to stay. The hotel is relatively close to the Meichi Pond, and other ski resorts are very inconvenient. The hotel does not have its own shuttle bus to the ski resort, and the free or paid buses are often late. It is not surprising to be late for 1 hour in the morning. The service is also very good. The only bad review is for dinner. The hotel includes dinner, but the pre-prepared French meal is so bad that I really can't stand it. It's not as good as the free curry rice at the entrance of the hotel.
