We got to the hotel in the beautiful location just before 3pm and we got given a little tour of the place and then got shown to our room. The staff are very friendly and do their best to speak English. A lovely lady was in charge of our hospitality throughout our stay and she first showed us that there is a public hot spring and a private hot spring and asked us if we would like to book a time to use the private hot spring, we booked a time as we checked in but then we didn’t use it as we were happy with our private hot spring in the room. We also booked a time for dinner and they arrived at that time Promptly with A LOT of food. We also got a choice for a staple food and we chose some steak which was high quality and delicious, as well as the lobster (on the menu it said grilled prawn but a lobster is what came and it was delicious). We ordered a few beers and a bottle of wine with room service and it always came quickly and was nice and cold. The private hot spring is absolutely boiling but it’s a good experience and there’s ice water provided which helps. Breakfast came at 8.30am and it was also huge! It didn’t come with coffee but I ordered some and that was easy enough. The lady who served our food explained every dish and how to eat it and she was always extremely friendly and attentive. Would recommend!

I suddenly had time off and wanted to go to a hot spring in Hakone for an overnight stay, so I searched for a place to stay and found Yaeikan. The price was very reasonable, the service was good, and best of all, the room with an open-air bath was the best. The hot spring water was free-flowing, so I could bathe in the hot spring 24 hours a day, and I enjoyed breakfast in my room. It was a very satisfying trip.

The air conditioner waits for cooling for more than 2 hours, and the noise is very loud, which seriously affects your rest!

Although this hot spring hotel looks old, the service staff is friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. The food is very unique

Very beautiful traditional Japanese Wenzhou hotel It is the tatami I always wanted to stay in The kaiseki cuisine for dinner and breakfast is very rich and delicious~ It is refreshing to smell the breath of nature and soak in the hot springs here... It is beautiful! Be careful when going up and down the wooden stairs❤️

The room is old-style Japanese style with wooden floor. The downside is that there is no elevator and it is difficult to move the luggage. There is no bathing facility in the room, only public bathing facilities. The bathroom is very cramped.

Second stay, as good as before, cost-effective, rich dinner, convenient location

It takes about 8 minutes to walk from the station. The weather is very hot, so it's okay if you have light luggage. Dinner features Hakone local specialties. However, public baths can only be used from 3pm to 9am. Not enough opening hours.

This is the worst tourist hotel experience I have ever had. 1. The hotel facilities are old and there are ugly old gray stains everywhere; 2. The heating capacity of the air conditioner is insufficient in the middle of winter. Not only did we all get colds, but it also whirred as if we were playing an accordion. 3. The experience of soaking in a hot spring pool is the same as that of a bathhouse. There is no interest in taking a dip. Those who do not take a dip will also be charged a hot spring tax; 4. The washbasin in the bathroom is not underwater, so you have to wait a long time to brush your teeth before continuing to wash your face; 5. I couldn't bear it anymore and asked to check out early and was told that the fee would not be refunded. What the hell, feelings are just about cheating one by one? ! I decided to check out and leave even if I didn't get a refund for more than 4,000 yuan a night!

The more than 2,800 rooms really surprised me, and I was also impressed by the management of such a large website provider as Ctrip. 1 I booked more than 2,800 yuan a month in advance. I was nervous at the time, but I checked it on the same day, and it was 1,350 yuan for the day I stayed with Ctrip. Hotel dumping understands, but there is a limit! Otherwise, what about the guests who have already booked? Being taken advantage of in advance? (Compared with the hotel with a view balcony in the same price that Mt. The worst experience is that the employees come in to take a shower directly after get off work

I like this old hotel frequently. The decoration and landscaping are extremely well done. Although the service staff are a bit old, their English skills are very good. I will choose Hakone for the long term.
