LC Goryokaku Hotel Reviews

We stayed at LC Goryokaku Hotel during our family trip to Hakodate and were pleasantly surprised by how well it suited our needs. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Goryokaku Park and the Tower, which made it easy for us to explore the area with our kids without needing transportation all the time. The room was clean, spacious enough for a small family, and had thoughtful touches like slippers, toiletries, and even a small seating area where we could unwind. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the quiet at night, which made it easy for the children to fall asleep. The hotel also offers free drinks in the lounge, which was a nice touch, and there's a laundry area, which is very useful when traveling with kids.

Nice and easy breakfast to start a morning. Rooms are spacious that everyone's suitcases cam be laid wide open for packing.

Walking distance to all the attractions. Accessible by bus right from Hakodate station. Stayed in the annex building but had enough amenities for guests. Free self-laundry. Simple and tasty, nutritious breakfast. Would go back there again.

the hotel in general was nice and clean, but the room was too dark for me. also it was not really comfortable to go to the main building to have a breakfast or to the sauna

There is no passage between the main building and the annex, which is inconvenient on rainy and snowy days. The bathroom ventilator and the edges of the clothes are not clean. The breakfast is simple, without even the milk that is a must in Hokkaido. The bed is too soft.

The hotel room is quite big for Japan. There is a free water bar on the second floor. The breakfast is also provided in the morning, and you can add dishes. Washing and drying are free. But there will always be someone who will secretly close it for you. The staff at the front desk are very enthusiastic except for one girl who looks down on Chinese people. It is worth recommending. Very cost-effective.

We stayed in the annex! It was a stylish building with an old-fashioned design. The interior was old, but there was a fire tv in the room, so we were able to watch YouTube and movies! For breakfast, side dishes (which changed daily?) were already on a mini tray, and we could help ourselves to the rest! Everything was delicious! Thank you very much!

The sauna area is so beautiful under the spotlight. The hotel is old and romantic. The public areas are beautiful and useful. There are few types of breakfast, no fruit, no hot tea, no bread, but the quality of some food is quite good.

I booked a single room in the annex. Check-in and breakfast are in the main building. You need to swipe your room card to enter the hotel and the elevator. The security is good. The breakfast is average, but it is free. The location is very good, it is very convenient to go everywhere, and there are many places to eat nearby

The room is small and beautiful, and the bath is very comfortable. The building has a lot of classical furniture and is very atmospheric. Free washing machine and dryer, convenient, I will stay here again next time.

The hotel is very close to the Hakodate tram station and there is a Family Mart nearby. Goryokaku is not far away and the transportation is very convenient. The hotel provides free breakfast, which makes the hotel more cost-effective.

I stayed in the annex. There was no smoking area there so I had to go to the main building which was a bit of a hassle, but the room was well cleaned so I was able to relax. The sauna was absolutely amazing!

It was clean and well-maintained. The Goryokaku Tower can be seen relatively close by, so the location is good. The room and bath were spacious and comfortable. If I had to say one thing, the breakfast was a simple bento lunch, which I thought was a bit disappointing, but I guess that's unavoidable considering the value for money. In any case, it was a satisfying hotel and I would definitely use it again if I had the chance.
