Popular Haikou 4-star Hotels

The location was not ideal for the purpose of my vacation. It was difficult to determine from the online information available, if there was a beach nearby. There wasn’t. It was also frustrating that the swimming pool was closed given that there was not swimming beach nearby. There is a supposed to be a spa in the hotel but it was no longer available. A fitness room still exists and looked well equipped. Aside from this, the staff were friendly and a couple of the staff spoke enough English to take care of my needs. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the cleaning staff did an excellent job of cleaning my room. It was convenient to have laundry facilities in the room given that my stay was 14 days long. If you’re in Haikou for business, then I give this hotel high marks. I was on vacation so it wasn’t the ideal hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean, most important the beds are good size and quite comfortable. There is a pool next door with hot tub (natural) which was nice and enjoyable. We had a three stay as we were visiting family in Haikou, I can recommend the hotel.

Stayed at the family suite for 3 adults. The room was very new, moden, clean, neat, and very spacious. The views from the room were marvellous. The Guest Relationship Officer Miss Tan Wen Xian was very friendly and even gave us a packet of goodies bag which contained yummy Hainan Island tidbits. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient and near a mall. The mall has shops and restaurants. Directly opposite the Hotel is Terminal 1, which has a Hong Kong cafe. The food at the cafe was very good. Highly recommend to stay here.

Stayed here for a night. It was a pleasant stay. Hotel gave off a dated vibe which I enjoyed. Staff was courteous. Amenities were sufficient. There was also a small public hot spring facility just outside the hotel and a tub you can fill with hot spring water in hotel room. Different varieties of food served during breakfast. Location is convenient to go to qilou old street. We took a cab.

I recently stayed at [Hotel Name], and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome and well-cared for at all times. The location is great, with easy access to local food and supermarket. A special mention goes to their coffee; it was truly exceptional and a delightful start to each morning. Overall, a wonderful stay with top-notch service, a perfect location, and a great coffee experience. Highly recommended!

Really good - very solidly built, spacious, spotlessly clean rooms. Its a quiet area, but the food is really good in the hotel. Huge breakfast. A great stopover after a flight before travelling on to the rest of the island. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in an excellent location with a very good surrounding environment, including Wanlv Park, Century Bridge, Yundong Library, etc. Free parking is also very convenient. The front desk lady is attentive and enthusiastic, and feels at home. We also upgraded the room for our old customers. Standing on the balcony, you can see the beautiful night view and the bay, which is very spectacular and beautiful. The room is fully equipped, the bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast is very rich. I will often visit this hotel in the future.

Convenient transportation. The Wanlvyuan bus stop is nearby. You can take the bus directly to Qilou Old Street and Bell Tower. You can also take bus G37 directly to Holiday Beach and Xixiu Beach. Yundong Library and Century Bridge are also accessible by bus. The hotel service staff is very good, the breakfast is rich and delicious, and the environment is very clean. It is worth recommending

The facade and the hotel structure were less pleasing and I was worried when I arrived. There was no proper drop-off area. The moment you step in, you don't feel the typical hotel because it's a museum kind. The reception was at the back and the whole place looked put off. I entered the room and the aircon conditioning was very poor and the room was hot (I stayed from 29 Apr to 1 May and the outdoor weather was hot!). Honestly, I felt uncomfortable but after the initial impression set in, I began to feel the charm of the hotel. The hotel painstakingly put up ornaments and the history's of Nanyang. It wasn't like a typical commercial hotel. The room was spacious with no lack of amenities. Bed and pillows were good for sleep. They provided laundry detergent and free laundry and drying service. Breakfast was bad (please skip). The location was superb!!! In the heart of Qilou Old Street, walking distance to Clock Tower (less than 10 mins) and Century Bridge (45mins by walk and 10mins by car). Excellent foot massage (郑远元） within walking distance (less than 8mins).

The hotel is located at the west gate of Wanlvyuan, close to the sea. There is a swimming pool and hot spring pool on the first floor. The surrounding environment is very good and you can take a walk on the beach at any time. The reception is very enthusiastic, the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are also new with smart systems, the bedding is comfortable, and the sleep in the room is very good. The hotel breakfast is Cantonese style. You can experience Hainan Laoba Tea, which tastes very good. Many locals drink morning tea in the restaurant. In short, it is great value for money and a very satisfying experience.
