Family Friendly Hotels in Haikou

Hotel has a good location surrounded by many restaurants/bakery/cafe. There is also a mall just across the hotel and a souvenir shop adjacent to it. I only booked the room for one night but decided to extend my stay as it is very convenient, clean and comfortable. The room also has ample space and looks very modern. On the second night, the hotel staff also left a fruit basket in my room; thank you for the kind gesture. For the price paid, I'd highly recommend this hotel!

My final stay was at the Mercure Haikou City Center. I booked a Deluxe room, which was clean and functional. The staff were friendly and even helped us check out from the previous hotel. The location was excellent, with easy access to parks and malls. The room came with a bidet, which was a nice touch, and the bed was comfortable. However, the air conditioner was weak, and since we couldn’t open the window fully, we had to sleep without blankets. Overall, for the price and space, I can’t complain. It’s a great hotel for city explorers who just need a place to bathe and sleep. There are plenty of food and shopping options within walking distance, and you can easily rent a bicycle to explore Evergreen Park, Century Park, and even Qilou Old Street.

This stay really surprised me! The hotel is very attentive. They called shortly after booking to introduce the hotel's rights and asked what time to arrive at the store and special requirements. The front desk service is considerate and thoughtful, and they took the initiative to upgrade our room for free, with a wider view. The lighting atmosphere in the room feels warm and soft, creating a unique immersive experience, which is very suitable for relaxation. The room is spacious and tidy, and I slept until I woke up naturally, without the trouble of recognizing the bed! And I added the service butler WeChat, introduced some surrounding attractions and sent some guides, which is not bad. I went to Longhu Paradise Street next to it and walked there. I ate a lot of food, all kinds of cuisines, and it was good to visit. I feel that the location of the hotel is still good. I will choose here next time.

Let's start with the positives. The rooms at the hotel were undeniably great. They were spacious, well-designed, and offered a comfortable ambiance. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room decor, making it a pleasant space to relax after a long day of exploring the area. The hotel's breakfast selection was another highlight of my stay. There was a good variety of options, and the quality of the food was quite impressive. Starting my day with a satisfying breakfast definitely set a positive tone for my daily adventures. Though the overall service at the hotel was just okay, there was one staff member who stood out and made a significant difference in my stay - Kitty. Kitty's exceptional assistance and attentiveness were truly commendable. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. However, there were some glaring issues that affected my experience. First and foremost, the Wi-Fi connection was terrible. As a traveler, having reliable internet access is essential for staying connected and planning daily activities. Unfortunately, the unreliable Wi-Fi at the hotel made this difficult, and it was quite frustrating. Additionally, the swimming pool was a letdown. Despite appearing beautiful in the pictures, it was actually dirty during my stay. I was looking forward to relaxing by the poolside, but the unclean water made it an unappealing option. Furthermore, the location of the hotel was a significant drawback. It was far from most of the popular attractions and amenities, making it inconvenient and time-consuming to travel to places of interest. I found myself spending more time commuting than enjoying the destination itself. On the culinary front, while there was a restaurant called ”China First,” the food was indeed excellent. However, I can't overlook the fact that it was expensive, and overall, the hotel felt overpriced for the amenities and services provided.

Second time staying in this hotel and enjoying. Really good price/value. Hotel is in a central area and nice to relax alone or in couple.

Check-in experience  The overall service awareness is very strong, the supporting facilities are very complete, there are , the nearby transportation is convenient, there is a 24-hour butler in WeChat, and the reply will be given at any time. If you have any needs, the butler will respond in time. You can provide mineral water towels and various kinds of once a day according to the requirements. Sexual supplies, as a homestay, this is not much different from a hotel .

The location of the hotel is also very convenient, close to attractions and commercial areas, allowing me to easily explore the beauty of the city and enjoy the fun of shopping at the same time I was deeply impressed by your warm hospitality and professional service. From check-in to leaving the hotel, you always kept a smile and patience, which made me feel the warmth of home. Some small episodes encountered during the honeymoon trip were also enthusiastically helped by the service staff, especially Manager Lu who solved our urgent needs. Before checking in, the hotel called to inquire about the room requirements. I think it was very considerate. They arranged a very quiet room far away from the elevator. The service response speed was also very fast, whether it was to send water or anything else. And the attitude of the staff was very good. They would greet you when they met you. There would be welcome tea when you checked in. The room quality was very good. The hotel was newly opened this year. All facilities were very new. The mattress was really comfortable to sleep on, not too soft or too hard. The most important thing was that there must be three types of charging cables at the bedside. You can charge with just a data cable🔋

We arrived at the hotel after 8pm. There was a very enthusiastic Indian uncle at the door to help unload the luggage from the car. The parking place was very close. The hotel lobby was very spacious and bright. We checked in smoothly and the baggage boy took us to the room. The room was newly decorated. I must praise the bed-turning service before going to bed, which was very nice. I haven't experienced it for a long time. There was also a fragrant flower fragrance at the gate at night. Later I found out that there were two night-blooming jasmines in full bloom. The breakfast was very rich, especially the Hainan noodles. After breakfast, I went to the garden and met a cleaning master who enthusiastically introduced me to the swing where I could check in and take pictures. I feel that the service level of this hotel is very good. The Indian uncle, the baggage boy, the front desk receptionist, and even a cleaning master I met were very sincere to my service. Super recommended. Of course, the price is too amazing. 480 including 2 breakfasts is super value. I will stay here next time I come to Haikou. The surrounding restaurants and vegetable markets are also very close. Very convenient.

The room is very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom and the shower room are separated into dry and wet areas. The air conditioning in the room is also very powerful. Each room type is equipped with a chair and table for dining and some writing operations. Overall, it is a very satisfactory stay. The room automation equipment is also very complete. The only drawback is that it may be due to the typhoon that just passed. I hope that the breakfast can be richer, in terms of snacks and drinks, to meet the breakfast needs of more customers.
