In a picturesque mountain setting, the building is simple and old, the room is clean and the facilities are good.

Booking this hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was clean and hygienic, and the quilt was very comfortable! There were a lot of mosquitoes on the mountain, but the scenery was beautiful!

Location: In Habkern, about a 15-minute drive from Interlaken, it's centrally located, making it convenient for those driving. Across from the B&B is a small town supermarket selling groceries, cheese, and ham. Parking: Behind the B&B is the owner's own private parking lot. Upon check-in, the owner will provide a sign for hotel guests to park in the window. Room: Room 103 was quite spacious, but like Room 102, it shared a balcony, making it less private with the constant flow of people. However, the view of the snow-capped mountains in the distance was still beautiful. The house is quite old, and the facilities are a bit dated, but it's clean and the water temperature is good. This B&B seems to be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. For those days, you need to check in online. You pick up your key from a box at the door and enter your room. Amenities: Kettle, coffee cup, TV. Cons: Due to old electrical wiring, several rooms may share a single branch line, making it prone to tripping. I arrived hungry and wanted to boil water for instant noodles, but the circuit breaker kept tripping, affecting the neighboring room's power supply. It was quite embarrassing. The B&B attendant later addressed the issue and suggested marking a spot where you could boil water. The lack of air conditioning is manageable, but the room can be quite stuffy, and opening the window can easily let in mosquitoes. Also, the shared balcony is constantly busy, so you have to dress properly. Breakfast: A very generous spread of bread, yogurt, cheese slices, butter, milk, coffee, ham slices, and fruit. Very good.

The room was nice, with a large kettle! All basic amenities were complete, including heating. It can be quite chilly in the mountains at night. There are several hiking trails nearby, but I didn't have time this time, which was a shame. The mountain air and water are beautiful, and it's incredibly quiet, with birdsong and fragrant flowers! The road to the hotel is winding, so beginners shouldn't try it! There's parking available. Breakfast was standard white rice, which was fine. Dinner ended at 9:30.

Very satisfied with the room and view! The front desk staff is very warm and friendly, and the dinner here is very, very delicious! Although the bathroom is shared, it is cleaned very well! A very pleasant stay!
