Jilin City Hotels with Gym

The owner is very kind. It is rare in China for an owner to speak English, so communication was easy. The 3-story building has a tatami room on the first floor for the kids, a living room on the second floor, and a bedroom on the third floor, all neatly organized. There is a bathroom on each floor, so it is convenient for a large family. The complex has a townhouse feel, so it is good for taking a walk around the area. Thanks to you, I had a great vacation.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Libai Hotel for seven consecutive nights this time, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel is right next to Beishan Park, and there's a bus stop just across the street, making transportation very convenient. There are also plenty of great food options nearby. It's close to other attractions, and taxi fares aren't expensive. The breakfast was plentiful, and the service was excellent. Although the hotel isn't large, the attention to detail is impressive. For instance, the lobby lounge area offers various teas and a bulletin board that quickly introduces you to the different attractions in Jilin City. If there was an issue in the room, the staff promptly came to help resolve it. In short, guests feel very comfortable staying here. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance. Too bad I didn't take many photos, just a few of the breakfast! 😁😁😁

SONG JIANG BONANZA WINNING HOTEL — From Smoke Signals to Sacred Silence Arrival & First Sniff This old dog finally flopped down in Jilin City, relieved to rest my paws at the grandly named Song Jiang Bonanza Winning Hotel. “Winning,” I thought—until my non-smoking room greeted me with a stale tobacco haze. One whiff and I nearly cancelled the stay on the spot. Room Rescue Cue Mr Hong Dejian—calm, English-speaking, and clutching the keys to redemption. He patiently showed me alternative rooms until we found one that didn’t smell like a poker night. Had I left, I would’ve missed what came next. Comfort Food = Home Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed. Care Beyond the Call Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking. Menu Meltdown & A Win At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned. City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace. Logistics That Worked Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring. Breakfast & The Fine Print Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in. Verdict Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. Stayed for nine nights over Chinese New Year for a fantastic ski vacation. The hotel offers convenient ski-in/ski-out access, and the lobby's lounge area is wonderfully cozy and comfortable, with complimentary hot tea – perfect for warming up after a tiring day on the slopes. The service was incredibly thoughtful; when I extended my stay, I had some booking issues that required canceling and rebooking (even past the free cancellation period), but they patiently assisted me with the rebooking, which I greatly appreciate. Breakfast was also very good. Dinner wasn't expensive, and the customizable Malatang (Sichuan hotpot) was excellent. It was also easy to get to town to buy fireworks and to local farm-to-table restaurants. I even won a bottle of wine during the Chinese New Year activities, wishing for a lucky year ahead. Hope to come back next year!

A great place to stay! We had a minor hiccup during our visit, but everything else was fantastic. The service was incredibly warm and accommodating, almost always fulfilling our requests. The shuttle drivers to the ski resort were particularly enthusiastic and responded super quickly. The surrounding area is very convenient with lots of delicious food options. It would be even better if the breakfast selection had more variety, but the bun shop downstairs is definitely the top must-try at Songhua Lake – absolutely delicious! We'll definitely consider staying here again next time.

This new hotel is incredibly close to the train station and truly has a great design aesthetic. The first floor houses a coffee shop/Western restaurant, and the second floor is for hotel accommodations. The coffee tastes quite good, and the air is filled with a pleasant fragrance mixed with coffee aromas, which really brightens your mood. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it covers all the bases, and the service is excellent – they're always happy to help. I especially want to highlight something: I'm not sure if it was the shampoo, conditioner, or hairdryer, but after washing my hair, it smelled wonderful and felt incredibly fluffy. In the northeast, my hair usually gets flattened from wearing thick hats every day, so I was really pleased with how my hair looked after this wash!

It was already late when we got there by navigation. There was just one parking spot left, and we could park at the door. The wash basin was very high and uncomfortable to use. The water pressure was very high when taking a shower. There was no problem with using water. The breakfast was OK. After all, the taste of food in the three northeastern provinces is heavy. The soy milk should be the kind that is washed down. It is really hard to drink.

This hotel is excellent! We're foreigners, from Russia, and it was our first time visiting Songhua Lake. The New Story Suite Hotel made us feel right at home. All the staff were incredibly kind. There are so many fun spots in this hotel! Games, karaoke, and a restaurant are all on the -1 floor. I have three kids, so there were plenty of things for them to do. It was super convenient to bring the children here. My favorite part was the massage. I especially loved Mr. He (He Ruiyou). His hands are truly amazing! We'll definitely stay here again next time! (Original Russian review also provided): We stayed at this hotel during the New Year holidays with our large family (5 people: 2 adults and three children). We rented a large room, which was cozy and clean. We all felt comfortable in this spacious room, and there were enough beds for everyone. We loved everything about this hotel: the friendly staff, and the cleanliness was top-notch – we walked barefoot in the room. You can request room cleaning as needed. Downstairs, there's a hot water pool. The water is changed every three days. But what I liked most was the Tesla shuttle service to the mountain. And the most wonderful thing about this excellent hotel is the masseur He Ruiyou (that's his name in Chinese). After a day on the slopes, a massage from Mr. He is exactly what you need. He is the best masseur I've ever encountered.

The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. It was also well-lit and soundproof, ensuring a very pleasant stay. The facilities were complete and well-maintained, with stable hot water supply and strong Wi-Fi signal, showing attention to detail. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, efficiently handling check-in and thoughtfully recommending local dining spots and sightseeing routes. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, providing great value for money. Overall, the service was professional and meticulous, from check-in to check-out, the entire experience was seamless and highly satisfying. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.
