Business Hotels in Jilin

I wasn't expecting this caliber of hotel in a smaller town such as Jilin. It is better than some 5 star hotels I've stayed at in other larger cities in China. Our room was extremely large, as we were able to accommodate two additional friends in our room for lunch with plenty of space to spare. Speaking of lunch, the delivery to the room was delivered via robot, much to our son's delight. The room and bathroom were both clean and well appointed. Nothing felt run down or low rent. The generously sized bath tub was put to good use for bathing our son, as well as soaking in a relaxing bath. The staff was extremely professional and catered to our special needs, including a crib and extra care for our son. Would also like to mention the busboy (礼宾部田静润) who was extremely helpful in loading/unloading of our extra large luggage into the taxi.

The temperature in the room is too hot. Some services cannot be consulted on the website. You have to call or go to the front desk in person to ask, which brings inconvenience to guests who do not have a domestic phone number.

For southern guests, the hotel's heating may be too sufficient, resulting in the room temperature being too high and the air being stuffy, which is not very comfortable. I asked the front desk for advice to open the window for ventilation and cooling down, and it really became much more comfortable. The hotel staff is warm and thoughtful, with a friendly and polite attitude. They will welcome small gifts such as fruits and candied haws, which can make guests feel the warmth of home. The breakfast is rich and varied, offering a variety of meal options such as Western and Chinese. The restaurant also offers local specialties and international cuisine to meet the taste needs of different guests.

Location is just opposite main rail and bus station. 5 to 10min walk. very convenient. However carpet looks not clean. and housekeeping just replace items. no make bed nor vacuum. Bed mattresss and pillows super hard. must be very2 old. due for change please. Hard like a block of wood. Bathroom is small. shower is in between wc and washbasin. each time you shower whole floor all wet. dangerous if slip. Breakfast almost all local cuisine. others is just plain bread and hard boiled eggs. Some staff are friendly some are imppossible

I came to this B&B on a business trip. The room is big and has a very clear TV. The owner is so attentive that the TV is available for members. It is well-received. The room is very quiet and the bed is clean. It is quite comfortable to sleep. After dinner in the evening, I went out for a walk to the villa area. It is worthy of being called the Little Switzerland of Northeast China. When I returned to the B&B, the lights hanging on several small roads were all lit up. Everything around became soft and quiet because of these lights. The environment is really good. There are free drink coupons when you check in. The drinks are good. I will come again.

It's so funny. There are not many hotels in Jilin City that cost 600 yuan a night. I originally booked the hotel for the words ”Luxury Mountain View”. And I also specially noted ”High floor, quiet”! It was meaningless and completely disrespectful to the customer's wishes. My notes and messages did not play any role. In the end, I was given the lowest floor, the 9th floor, and it was at the corner! I really don't understand why the high floors are empty and not given to customers. I went to the front desk early the next morning to ask, and there are still rooms available on the 10th floor. This stay is really annoying and disrespectful! But the room attendants on the 9th floor and the restaurant staff on the 3rd floor are very kind. The bar counter the next morning also apologized after learning about my needs. It was the bar counter the day before. I don't understand why there is class struggle on his face. It's so annoying!

I came to Jilin to visit friends and searched for hotels on Ctrip. I was immediately moved when I saw the name of this hotel. I thought the name of this hotel was very special. After reading the reviews, I found that it is a minimalist style that I like very much. I decided to stay here. . I didn’t find out until I lived there! The bed in the store is very soft and comfortable. I actually slept soundly! It must be praised! It's so important to have a good sleep when you go out to play~ The hygiene inside is very good, and the service attitude of the lady at the front desk is also very good! Very satisfied, great value for money! Come again next time 😎

I chose to stay at Yideyuan Hotel, which has a good location and convenient transportation. The overall experience is good! The hotel environment is good, the rooms are large, clean and tidy, and the service is also very good! The guest service manager Tian is warm and thoughtful, the front desk beauty and room service are also very enthusiastic, the hotel is well-equipped and convenient to go anywhere. I had a great time in Jilin this time. I will choose this hotel next time. 😊

Very surprised that as an international chain this hotel has no room service. For international traveler without local phone number it is impossible to book food delivery online. By international standard this is a lower end 4 star hotel in terms of amenities and service. The front office double up as concierge.

I read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews. The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center. There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis. The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free. Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two. (My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).
