This hotel is located in Gwangju Buk-gu (some distance from the city center) and close to Chonnam National University. It should be considered a B&B. There are many other B&Bs in the surrounding area. It feels like the area is a B&B area. But the cost-effectiveness of the single room is good, and the surrounding area is very convenient for food, clothing and transportation. When you check in, you have to use your mobile phone to dial the landlord's phone number. It's better to prepare a local phone card, otherwise it will become an international long distance call.

Stayed for 4 nights in private room. Small but compact room with drawers and shelves for storage. Good hot working shower. Comfortable beds and efficient air con and fan. Plenty of food options and shops around as close to the university and good transport links to major attractions. Shared kitchen, small but everything you need. Due to this being shared, it was not always the cleanest as not everyone takes responsibility to clean after themselves. Hosts were LOVELY. Really friendly and always around for a chat. We sat with them for dinner one evening and we're given local fruits to try. Cheap and convenient.

Thank you so much for my wonderful stay! I would recommend staying here to any solo travellers, the lovely couple who run this hotel made me feel so welcome and safe! It’s in a great area close to many bus stops, restaurants and cafes. It’s easy to find and very clean. It’s quite at night time too. Thank you!!!!

I had to stay here because I had some urgent business near Chonnam National University. I was worried and skeptical because the price was ridiculously cheap. ^^; The staff was so kind that I wondered why I had been worried. The welcome kit and towels were all provided, which was pretty good! They turned on the air conditioner in advance, so I was able to sleep comfortably. I plan to stay here again if I have an urgent business! It's even better because it's close to the bus stop.

The price was reasonable and the facilities overall were good.
One thing I regret is that there is no soap.
I think that was the only downside.
If I get the chance, I think I will stay here again.

The nicest people I've ever met. I came too early but was still able to check in. The owners talked a lot with me and we even drank a coffee together. They also helped me with my SIM card. The room was more than enough and the location was good woth a lot of stores around, while still being in a quiet environment. Definitely recommend going here and would love to come back when I'm back in south korea.
