Could do with a deep clean. Stayed more than one night and sheets were not changed for three days despite marks being on them from where I ate food in bed. More concerning were these devices from Rentokil. Two were underneath the bed and two were on open view in wardrobe area. Puzzled why they were there is there wasn’t a problem?

My wife and I recently stayed at Cross Keys for five nights' B&B and were immediately struck by the friendliness and helpfulness of all staff. Evening meals were available when we wanted them and were of very good quality. Cooked breakfasts were tasty, imaginative, substantial and well varied. Our room was good with all usual facilities including a large well-positioned TV set. Value for money was very good.

Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting family. The staff couldn't do enough for you really nice, polite and friendly! Food and drink were really good.

I had a Roast dinner on Sunday it Advertised it as Rare roast beef Pink to be precise! It came out it was like shoe leather!!!

Good base for visiting the east coast.
The hotel is well situated for visiting Whitby and Saltburn, pleasant bar and dining area. The food was excellent a d reasonable price as well. Well worth a visit and we shall certainly be calling again.

First time at Cross Keys; room was perfect. Food was lovely & staff so friendly. Manager Ben helped us book another stay & was really helpful. Outside the building very neat & quiet.

The Cross Keys was just what we needed when we were visiting relatives. Staff were very friendly, room and beds very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent.

Lovely, clean spacious venue, and super-friendly and helpful staff through-out. Myself and a couple of friends recently stayed overnight and had an evening meal, drinks, and breakfast in the morning – it was all very nice and we did not leave disappointed. Quite the opposite. And a special shout out to Sharon and Jade at Sunday breakfast who both went the extra mile in answering my coffee questions and cup-refilling!! If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend a visit.

It’s not the ‘mmmlll
It was ok - your on the main road if you have roadside view. Not ideal for a comfortable stay! Staff were ok but Anthony has 5 stars from me!
