Zemkamps Chalet ★★
"Nice hotel that looks authentic because of the wooden construction. The family that runs it is friendly and attentive. The room and bathroom are clean and are maintained daily. The air conditioning works great!"
RedDoorz @ Southern Suites Guimaras ★
"The water was too weak. It was gurgling. The rest was fine. It was late, but it was nice to be able to check in. The water was hot, but the water pressure was weak."
La Puerta Al Paraizo Guimaras powered by Cocotel ★★★
"If you want to unwind & spend a quality time with your family in a private island away from the city noise. Then this resort is for you. A perfect getaway indeed. The staffss are very accommodating, kind & helpful. The food in their restaurant are all tasty also. We really enjoy our stay & for sure we are gonna come back soon."
Costa Aguada Island Resort, Inampulugan Island, Sibunag, Guimaras ★★
"Costa Aguada is a clean resort with lots of coconut and bamboo trees around. It has a big pool and a kiddie pool however, there were lots of bees roaming around the pool area. There is a big entertainment center where you could play badminton, table tennis, darts and there is a pool table too. Good place for group gatherings. Kudos to Kenneth and Freddie who helped maintain the resort for a job well done. I told them I would rate the resort as 5 stars but I decided to put an overall 4 stars to give room for improvement. This resort has crystal clear waters, nature is preserved and there are wild monkeys and chicken that freely roam in the covered areas though I have not seen one. I was told there were. They serve good food. The rooms could have more comfortable beds and the locks of the bathroom could use some repair and upgrade and the rooms would be nicer if they had smoother floors. Hospitality to guests were outstanding. I would rate the staff 5 stars in their services. Job well done."
The Clara Beach and Guest House ★★
"A quaint, basic little beach resort, a little bit off the beaten track. Great place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle, and it even has a little swimming pool! I received excellent, helpful, and friendly service and really appreciate my dietary requirements being met by even going to buy vegetables to cook my meals with. WiFi is not the best, so a good opportunity to read or have a digital detox."
Raymen Beach Resort ★★★
"A fine budget hotel but definitely not three star. Seems designed for family groups Rooms are very clean and comfortable and staff is very sweet. Restaurant is like a high school canteen although food is pretty good. Only instant coffee available so bring your own if that’s a must Beach is very very small and windy. Eco resort next door is great to explore"
Guimaras Mangrove Guesthouse ★★
"As the previous reviewer Brant JS stated, this is now known as Cabreras' Guesthouse. We were given a front room with quite good aircon. The bedroom suffered from traffic noise during the day and into the early evening. The room had a very basic double bed with only a rough blanket to cover each of us. There was no top sheet or doona/duvet. There was a fridge with freezer section in the common area. The shared bathroom had a hot shower with minimal water flow. We had to ask owner Santiago how to switch on the hot water. Towels were OK but there was only one shared hand towel. Often the water was turned off so the toilet would not flush. One had to resort to using the dipper and a large bucket of shower water. Santiago had two 18 year old relatives staying. Bibi was helpful. Initially there was a caged rooster near our bedroom but we requested it be moved. This occurred. The bedroom had an old style wardrobe and a small sofa. Curtains blocked the light. WiFi worked well in the lounge area that had a sofa and lounge area. Cooking in the kitchen would incur an extra charge of 100 pesos per day. There was a dining table with six chairs. Breakfast is not provided. The rudimentary restaurant on the other side of the road does not open until 1100. The back has direct concrete step access to the sea. No beach though. Mangrove forests are on both sides. To shop one has to find a P20 per person tricycle to go to 7-11 at the Nueva Valencia town centre that also has St Vincent Ferrer's Church with Sunday Mass at 0600 hours. A tricycle to the Guisi Lighthouse and Tahi Resort costs P250 one way while to Raymen Beach Resort it is P100 for the whole trike. At best, this was an average stay. Don't expect much."
Manggadiwa Resort And Spa
"Stay away. We all got sick after our lunch. We went for lunch and total disappointment. Paid xx amount person to eat only to find out most items on the menu were unavailable. Felt bad for the waiter because it wasn’t his fault but returned to table 3 times to say sorry unavailable. If I was staying there I would be very unhappy. There is construction noise all the time. It is suppose to be a new resort but it needs upkeep already. I read a review where they talked about the pool bath being smelly and dirty. I full agree."
