Sol Sanctum - Boutique Wellness Hotel

My son and I visited St Lucia the first time for some quality time together. We chose Rodney Bay and came across this new boutique hotel. The room was very comfortable, with balcony overlooking mango trees and sea view at a distance. The owners, GM, and the team were excellent. We joined a meditation session taught by the owners. A very refreshing experience! The area was very safe and Rodney Bay was within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There were lots of restaurants to choose from, either along the beach or along the road parallel to the beach in the neighbourhood. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

The hotel is very modern with good amenities, comfy bed and nice toiletries. It is a little cold and minimalist, but very clean. The breakfast is vegan so a little different, no buffet, still generous. Good customers service. No pool, but quiet and with good restaurants nearby.

My friend and I stayed here during carnival, so I must admit that we did not take advantage of many of the amenities (ie. breakfast, wellness classes, etc.) However, our stay was great. Everyone from the security guard to the staff to the owner were friendly, hospitable and ensured we were comfortable. Our room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The location was great and near many restaurants and a shopping mall. Marise (the owner) was so thoughtful and offered us epsom salt and a bucket to soak our feet since we played mas for 2 days straight. I'd definitely stay here again.

I just stayed at Sol Sanctum again for the second time in less than a year, and I still highly recommend it. It’s such a relaxing atmosphere, close to the beach and restaurants, and the breakfast is delicious. Also, the staff truly is amazing! I will continue staying here.

If you like an all inclusive, busy hotel then this place is not for you! For everyone else you won't be disappointed! We were a bit apprehensive when we booked as Sol Sanctum has only been open a year. We needn't have worried. It was the most lovely relaxing place to stay you could possibly want, it was so peaceful. The room was spacious, light and airy and well equipped for our two week stay. The bed was enormous and equally comfortable. The highlight though were the excellent staff who became like a family to us after two weeks! It's a small place so you get to know everyone really well and they are all super nice and helpful! The breakfast was also really good. I read some reports before we went about it being a bit repetitive but we didn't find it so, with a changing hot dish every day and a varying fruit salad. In any case we usually have the same thing every day at home for breakfast so it certainly didn't bother us. We enjoyed chatting with other guests each morning in the small dining room, again, it's a small place so you get to know like minded people. We made use of the yoga and pilates classes that are available in the lovely studio upstairs and really enjoyed a free meditation class that the owners Marise and Wendell gave on the Sunday morning. It's not something we'd done before so it was nice to try it. Sol Sanctum is really well located for everything. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and about the same distance to enough restaurants that we hardly repeated while eating out every night of the two weeks, most of which were good or very good. A 10 minute walk gets you to Rodney Bay Village where there are supermarkets and all type of shops and more restaurants. Another 5 minutes and you have the Harbour and Marina. For everything else the front desk were always happy to help or make suggestions.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with our accommodations. The location is a 5 minute walk to the beach through a very safe area with lots of restaurants, shopping and nightlife all within walking distance. The place is brand new and very nicely furnished and comfortable. This is a great place to relax in a quite and peaceful environment. Its booze free and smoke free with a vegetarian breakfast included, which was actually quite good (I’m not a vegetarian). They offer daily yoga sessions in a very nice yoga studio on premises. The place was very relaxing and the people who run it were very nice and attentive without being to overbearing. It was definitely a nice change of pace from the resort we were staying at. I would definitely recommend staying here, if you’re into yoga then I recommend it even more.
