Siamo capitati un weekend in quel di Greve e, per la cena, abbiamo optato per questo ristorante che si trova nella piazza principale del paese. Ad accoglierci,eravamo in tre persone, un cameriere gentile che,eravamo senza prenotazione ma in questo periodo non è assolutamente un problema, ci assegna il tavolo e ci consegna i neù. Decidiamo di prendere tutti e tre un antipasto toscano composto da finocchiona(molto buona)del prosciutto crudo(buono ma niente di che)della soprassata toscan(molto,molto buona), dei crostini con fegatini(veramente ottimi). Facciamo accompagnare il tutto da un Chianti docg. Come secondi abbiamo scelto in due una "fiorentina" da 1,4 kg e chi era con noi ha scelto una pasata con cavolo nero e pancetta. Abbiamo scelto di accompagnare i piatti con delle patate al forno, delle erbette e verdure fritte(in olio e.v.o.). Cibo tutto molto buono, la "fiorentina" era al sangue come avevamo chiesto, e il servizio è stato buono. Fine cena non avevamo più "posto" e abbiamo scelto un paio di liquori. Conto proporzionato alla qualità del cibo e del servizio. Locale sicuramente da consigliare e magari rivedere in estate.

Weekend in moto nel Chianti
Un hotel meraviglioso affacciato sulla bellissima piazza di Greve in Chianti.
Camere pulitissime nello stile tradizionale toscano, un plus che ho apprezzato tantissimo il terrazzo con vista sui tetti del paese.
Eccellente anche il ristorante.

Da Veneti siamo venuti qui per delle passeggiate tra le colline del Chianti, ma dopo ogni escursione tornare in albergo ed essere come a casa non ha prezzo.. già la prima sera che siamo arrivati tardi dal viaggio ci hanno fatto cenare anche se erano quasi le 22 e non è scontato. La cena buonissima con prodotti freschi e di qualità. La camera rustica, col suo bagno e con un letto comodo. La colazione semplicemente perfetta, dal dolce al salato, con ampia scelta di prodotti, molti preparati in casa. (Crostata fenomenale) la degustazione poi con i 3 calici, la degustazione dei prodotti locali e tipici, altro che degustazione, cena a tutti gli effetti con zero spazio e tutto naturalmente ottimo. Finisco solo col ringraziare la signora capo della struttura che ci ha fatto sentire veramente a casa, se mai torneremo in Toscana, passeremo sicuramente a trovarla perché è bello vedere da quanti anni ci mette così tanta passione in tutto quello che fa. Un abbraccio e grazie dai camminatori veneti

Great food and awesome staff..so helpful despite the language barrier. Tagliatelle fantastic. Great florentine steak. 2 lunches in a row and no dissatisfaction or disappointment. Great wine list especially or local wines. Any Chianti reserva from 2017 will be a joy!1

Unless you can guarantee that you will have a room that does not face the square, avoid this stay. This hotel should not ever book the rooms facing the square. My husband and I were given a twin bed room facing the square. We thought staying in the town square would be charming, but it ended up being a horrible choice because it was noisy all day and night. There is no AC, which is fine, but that meant our windows always had to be open. Our windows overlooked restaurants that had patrons lingering (and talking loudly) well past 11pm. We got to hear all the restaurants clean up with dishes banging after that. On Friday night of our stay, there was a DJ until midnight in the town square. It was LOUD in our room. On Saturday morning starting at 5:30am, we were greeted by people starting to set up for a festival in the square. Don’t forget the bell that tolls every hour until midnight. There was no peace and quiet to be had. Sleep was terrible. I will say the staff was apologetic and kind and I wished we had been given a better room so I did not have to write this. This experience was a very low point in our honeymoon and I was sad, stressed and disappointed by it. The best part of this hotel was the relief we felt when our two nights was over.

Abbiamo pernottato in stanze comode e confortevoli e abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale, pasta al cavolo nero e un gran fritto di verdure e polpettine. Superlativo. Accoglienza calorosa. La location è bellissima nella piazza di Greve.

Albergo molto semplice e atmosfera accogliente e familiare. Ottimi i dolci fatti in casa a colazione, gentilissima la proprietaria. Certamente è una struttura un po' datata che necessita di qualche ammodernamento, ma nel complesso l'esperienza è stata molto positiva.
