Spent three nights. Limited staff at this resort, but they work hard to create a wonderful experience for their guests. Note for owners, clean the microwaves more often. Tub in Room 202 fills with water halfway while taking a shower, drains very, very, very slowly. Curtains in the room would be nice, since one set of blinds won't close. Overall, we enjoyed the peaceful getaway in the beautiful setting of Greer

Great Location and staff :) Traveling with my mother we located this hidden gem tucked away against the mountains. The german food was amazing and such a clean chill place to stay with amazing hospitality. We will for sure come back !

It is a couple who runs the entire thing. It operates more like a B&B than a resort but it does have a sauna and hot tub that we used! And for the price it was lovely.

Edelweiss resort and restaurant is a wonderful place to stay and eat. The people who run it are amazing and Geer is beautiful

The people in charge of this property are very nice. We did have one dinner at the restaurant. The Inn is a bit older, but the room was a nice size and had what we needed. Plenty of towels.

When you’re in Greer don’t not miss this German style food we had the Wihenhenstephanier Dunnkel dark beer, the Opa’s Favorite Appetizer, the Knockwurst sausage and the Kassler Korelett The portions were large and the food was authentic and excellent Unfortunately the place is for sale so go before it closes

We had a great time here. We rented one of the cabins as we had our 2 dogs with us. Really pretty location. The owners and staff are so nice and friendly. The restaurant was awesome with great authentic German food and beer. Sitting out on the restaurant patio for dinner in June was really nice. Decent continental breakfast. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommend.

This review is for the restaurant, not the rooms. The food was simply as I remember it from Germany. While there were some interesting offerings, the food simply tasted German. The Jaegerschnitzel was breaded pork with mushroom gravy, French fries and cucumber salad. The Wiener Schnitzel was made out of veal (which is the correct way), and the Cordon Bleu was made correctly out of pork, not chicken. And everything tasted great. The beer as well…. The lodge looked very clean, but we did not book a room.

Property needs a deep clean and maintenance
The hotel is very outdated and in need of repair. The front door handle was broke off. That’s a first impression and easy fix. The property was dirty and had a horrible smell. A deep cleaning and basic maintenance would go a long way. No heat but space heaters everywhere. A beautiful fire place in the lobby but no fire. It had a sign that said if you want one, build one. Our room had an awful smell. The refrigerator was turned off but not cleaned. Rotten take out food left in the fridge was the smell. The hot tub was nice, in working order and clean.
