No cold Water in shower was constantly hot no adjustment

We had an unexpected layover due to multiple flight cancellations at DFW. We chose this hotel for our stay because of convenience to the airport and they offered shuttle service. As Bonvoy members we were given a late checkout which we needed due to the rescheduling of our flight which was late evening. Matthew at the front desk was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and getting us shuttled around to anywhere we wanted to go. It’s rare these days to encounter such a helpful person in hotel management. So thank you Matthew, for making our unexpected stay enjoyable. The McAlister’s in #713.

Great stay at a convenient location to the airport and other attractions. The staff, especially night shift member Sheren, was very friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size with a comfortable bed, clean kitchen, and nice amenities. The breakfast had all the basis. The only minor issue was the tub/shower that didn’t drain well. I would stay again.

Great place to stay! When we arrived, front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had a king size bed and a pullout sofa bed with a kitchen &eating area. Hotel room was clean and spacious. The complementary breakfast had many food options to choose from. Highly recommend this hotel!!!

First the Good; our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Now the bad; 1) We ordered a 1 bedroom suite and was put in a studio. We were told by the AGM Ja'Mario, a couple of pilots had to extend and would be checking out at 11pm and our room would be ready 1st thing in the morning. At 930am, we were told our room was ready. I went up, packed up, and brought everything down. Only to be told, I'm sorry your room isn't ready. It was finally ready at 11:56am. 2) Don't sit on the edge of the hot tub you will be attacked by little black ants coming out of the cracks.

Great hotel, exactly as described on the picture and up to the standard of “Marriott” brand. Very helpful front desk, late checkout without hassle and I could send a package there. The included breakfast is nice with different options and everything on self service. Free coffee available 24hrs and the hotel is virtually 5min walk away from Grapevine outlet mall. And airport shuttle available!!

Would like to give this hotel 5 stars but I won't. Let's get to it. Pros - Rooms are decent. Breakfast was hot and a nice variety of hot breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, coffee, bagels, donuts, and cereal. The lady at the breakfast area was the nicest staff we encountered. Saying hello is simple but unfortunately, the front desk staff wasn't so nice or helpful. Cons - Our toilet didn't flush properly after one flush and I had to open the lid and press on one of the tubes for it to work, and we were told it would be fixed, but it wasn't. Only here for 2 days so we managed. Avoid using the shuttle - we requested a shuttle to downtown Grapevine for 5pm then changed it to 6pm and was told after that shuttles don't pick you up on the weekends and we were not told that earlier....plus we waited 40 minutes then the guy showed up, said he was delayed with a maintenance issue. What the hell? We almost missed our show and just decided to drive ourselves. No apologies were given, just felt like 'oh well'. NOT GOOD. Just take the shuttle service off the website because it sucks. Front desk may need customer service 101. When guests who pay good money check-in, it could help to smile and appear interested. 2 at the front desk checked us in but the 'manager' didn't appear friendly at all. Then later we were in lobby and heard the 'manager' talking loudly on her phone and cursing. Really? Yep. Guess she didn't know we were standing there or maybe she didn't care. Felt bad for the new guy who was 'in training'. Don't be like her. Unbelievable that people can get these customer service jobs and don't care about the customer. Don't go to the restaurant in the hotel after 9pm. We went at 915pm and were starving and they had shut down the kitchen but kept the bar open. Really? Can you put up a sign so we won't waste time. I don't want a drink, I want a meal. Again, the hotel is nice and near lots of restaurants and shopping, but it's the little things like basic customer service that mean a lot to people who work hard and pay money for crappy service. Get a clue and get a grip because I won't be back. Will take my hard-earned money elsewhere.
