Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas-DFW Airport N-Grapevine

If you like smelling like curry and tasting it when you open your mouth, this is where you want to be. Also if you want to listen to the roaring of a room air conditioning unit on full blast and have your widow not fully closed to allow the vent to stick out, this is definitely the place for you. In terms of cleanliness and service it was good, but the smell and janky units will be a hard pass for me in the future.

This hotel is quite close to DFW airport (around 10min ride). Facilities got renovated, room is clean.

Had trouble in checking in, room not ready at 4:30 PM though it was preselected; alarm went off at 1:20 AM waking up everyone; breakfast ran out of food and Coffee!

Disappointed Customer The lobby area was subpar; it could have been cleaned better. The sofa’s were badly stained in the breakfast area. The hallways on the way to our room had random particles, like it needed to be vacuum. The rooms where subpar for the price that was paid; they could have been cleaned better, there where like coffee splatters or rust on the side of the refrigerator; the floors had little crumbs like they needed to be swept; the pillows were flat in the room on the left; we saw a spider and cricket in the room in the right and there appeared to me mold or dirt on the molding around the tub. I was disappointed because I invited guest to stay with me and they were complaining.

The staff was great! The pool was great! It was clean overall. We had some sticky floors in our kitchen area of the room that was gross. The complimentary breakfast was underwhelming in quality. The coffee wasn’t hot on multiple mornings. We were also charged a daily parking fee but there were multiple signs all over the parking lot saying that parking was complimentary for hotel guests only. I’m sure they get people trying to park with mall nearby but thought the signs were misleading for hotel guests being charged to park.

I reserved a 2-bedroom suite with a full kitchen for a special sleepover for my daughter. When I was finally able to get into the room, it was clean and well-presented. However, several issues throughout the stay made the experience less than ideal. First, my room was not ready at the 3:00 PM check-in time. I had arrived two hours earlier, understanding it might not be available, but upon returning at 3pm, I still had to wait an additional 45 minutes. While waiting in the lobby, I could hear the staff express frustration with the constantly ringing phone. While they answered politely, it was extremely uncomfortable. The inside of the suite was spacious and tidy. Unfortunately, the living room TV was broken, showing pixelated, distorted images that made it unusable. I called the front desk. They offered to move us, but we opted to stay put and make do since we were already settled. One of the bathrooms also had a broken bathtub stopper. It took a good bit of effort to get it open so the water could drain properly, which shouldn’t have been necessary in a hotel of this caliber. The final disappointment came at breakfast the next morning, where there was visibly molded fruit in the fruit bowl. That’s a quality control issue that should’ve easily been avoided. Overall, the stay wasn’t terrible, but a handful of preventable issues made it a less-than-smooth experience.
