Quality Inn

This was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life, and I stay in a LOT of hotels. I choose choice because they are usually safe and clean. This hotel is NEITHER. We arrived to carpet in the outdoors that was duct taped down in multiple places and the inviting looking pool was empty and dirty. There were homeless people in it smoking. The front desk has a sign that you need a $100 CASH deposit if you are paying cash or if you are a local. Well right there, I didn't even want to stay in the town. The room was filthy. I mean filthy. My husband went to the OPEN janitors closet and got sheets to put over EVERYTHING because the bed sheets had stains and hairs and I mean a LOT of them, the pillows were disgusting. The smoke detector was gone, there were no fins in the AC, the curtains had bleach stains which made me feel someone had died in that room violently and they were cleaning blood splatter. The curtains were falling off. The tub was black in the bottom and had cracks in the sides. AVOID THIS LOCATION. I called choice and since the hotel had not checked me out, though I was half a day up the road and I did indeed check out, they wouldn't even take the concern. This was "in case they chose to refund you." Well it wasn't about a refund, it was about if I want to trust the choice brand again. Sad really....

Stayed one night. Air conditioner didn't work and there was no one who could fix it and there was no room for us to move to. Seasonal pool was listed on the website, but a sign on the drained pool said closed for 2025 season. Breakfast was waffles or cereal, juice or coffee or tea. Instant oatmeal packets. Only compensation offered the next morning was to book a room for $90 plus tax. Choice Website offered the room for $111, direct from front desk was $140.

Staff was great and very friendly. Room was clean. Heater/air conditioner/air all worked great Pool is cracked so it’s down for now.

Do not recommend The first room smelled foul, stale and moldy. The air conditioner in both rooms were missing covers. The pool that’s advertised on the booking is empty, has been for a long time and no eta on when it would be basin service, we booked the hotel for the pool. The front desk was unprofessional, eating while we checked in and was on a personal call and we had to wait for him to finish his call before he checked us in. The room we stayed in had dirty walls and bathroom, the window screen was broken and the window did not lock. Breakfast was supposed to be from 7-9 and was not ready until after 7:30. When we asked the front desk about the pool they shrugged it off like it was no big deal. The beds and pillows were lumpy. I will never stay here again and will never recommend it to anyone!
