Staff was very friendly and always willing to help if there was a problem. However, one major problem did prevent us from having a good restful vacation. In all we had three problems with the first two corrected immediately. 1) the freezer when we arrived was not cold nor had ice as if it wasn't even turned on. 2) no kitchen items available to cook in the stove. 3) and most importantly the building is terribly built for noise. We had a second floor unit and when we stay at hotels we ALWAYS pay attention to walking quietly. We don't want to ruin the time for anyone below. Sadly many don't take this same thought and care towards others. The visitors above woke up every morning around 5:30 and were walking, stomping and moving around till they left near 7. The building is so poorly built that every noise is heard. The construction even used linoleum flooring which is the worst floor option. It acts like a drum because how it's installed. They are note quiet! Zero thought went towards sound in this building. Even the walkways and stairs outside when kids run or people walk vibrate the entire building. When the people moved up stairs we could actually feel the vibration in the bed. As such every day we were woken at 5:30-6:00am. We informed the desk and they said they would mention it to the people above. It didn't matter assuming that was actually done. When we arrived I specifically asked for a 3rd floor unit but the building was built without a two bedroom unit available for us on the 3 floor. We won't ever return to this location as sleeping is number one priority on a vacation such as this. We hike, and rock climb and are totally spent every day so we MUST be able to sleep. We did not try the food as we cooked in the kitchen, plus the cost of to eat there was no in our budget. We did eat in town a few times and the places we chose were great.
