This was hands down the WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had — so bad I didn’t even stay the night. After driving 3.5 hours, I was exhausted and ready to rest. Instead, I walked into rooms that were absolutely disgusting. The first room looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. Hair in the freezer, sticky drink residue in the fridge, a bread clip on top of the unit, dust and grime everywhere, old food on the table, and even a dirty towel shoved between the vanity and the wall. Completely unacceptable. When I asked for another room, I expected at least basic cleanliness. Instead, I found a filthy drinking glass with brown stains inside, a sticky table, and shelves that hadn’t been wiped down. At that point, I was beyond disgusted and furious. I personally walked the front desk agent through BOTH rooms to show exactly how bad they were. That was Wednesday, 8/13/25. Today is 8/17/25, and I still have not heard from a single person at this property. No apology, no follow-up, no attempt to fix the situation — nothing. My time was wasted, my dinner was ruined, and I had to scramble to find another hotel late at night. To make matters worse, this hotel didn’t even bother to offer assistance or compensation. That’s not just poor service — that’s a total lack of respect for paying guests. I travel frequently, and this ranks as the dirtiest and most unprofessional hotel I’ve ever encountered. If you care about cleanliness, respect, or even basic hospitality, do not book here.

It is a very good option when you are visiting Flint, however the house keeping was not as good as expected, they promise to clean the room every other day, they did clean it during our 5 nights visit, we had to request clean towels and clean sheets every other day.

The propert seems to be nice but when we got to the room the bathroom doors slide and the top was broken so we could barely shut the door and I called the front desk to let them know about the door and the front desk person did not leave notes like they said.

Upon entry, Theresa was warm, friendly & helpful. Even at checkout the women who helped me was also a prime example of customer service! I didn’t eat breakfast but heard from my colleagues it was amazing along with their coffee. Will be back again.

Room was dirty- dirty fingerprints all over light switches, tons of black hair all over the bathroom, bathroom sink did not drain, refrigerator was filed with water and ice. Bed was sunken in as if it was 400 years old. Bathroom smelled of smoke. Terrible room

We've stayed here many times and come back because we've like it. However, it's been slipping: 1. For the second time we reserved a suite with separate bedroom and got here and found out that we could only get the studio (no separate bedroom). The second time it was because we got tricked into making reservations through a third party after simply googling "Home2 Suites by Hilton Grand Blanc" and calling the number that popped up. I fault Hilton for letting this happen. 2. The small things are disappearing: no more black tea at breakfast -- just herbal, no more hot chocolate. Often no veggie options 3. Our door lock battery died and it took two days to get them to fix it, so we had to get help from the front desk 3 times to get into our room. The staff are still very friendly though!
