Unfortunately It was raining in Grahamstown, so we could not fully enjoy the garden and outdoor breakfast. This address is very secure. We were told to leave our car on the street overnight. Not far from the centre. There are some restaurants within 2 k.

The most beautiful place, service was amazing like me and my family have no complaints we really enjoyed our stay and next time I visit I'll most definitely be staying there again.... I really had an awesome time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quality service and amenities. Thank you especially to Monwabisi for his gracious care and help. After COVID we have noticed that most places have slipped in delivering the quality that one might expect. While that is understandable, we were surprised at how 8A maintained their standards. You lived up to your promise. Wish we could have stayed longer.

8A way exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed as were the general areas Breakfast was great. Small touches like the availability of a yoga mat were most appreciated..

We had a great experience. The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much hassle. The check-in was smooth and fast, none of the normal irritation of having to re-fill in forms. Breakfast was wonderful. Great location, easy to get around town.

The staff at 8a are world class. Momwabisi was beyond exceptional and nothing was to much for him. He was attentive, friendly and always availible He went out of his way to keep us warm and satisfied on a very chilly weekend in Grahamstown

8A Grahamstown is a true gem. I stayed in one of the 6 rooms they have on the property. The room is spacious , equipped with air conditioning and electric blankets to keep you toasty during winter. The property is tastefully decorated in a combination of modern farm style and boho chic theme. The bathroom is my highlight , the walk in waterfall shower and Charlotte Rhys accessories made for great experience when getting ready each morning. I enjoyed the sweet locally manufactured biscottis provided at the tea station. Although we were in stage 4 load shedding the generator on the property kept the lights and wifi connection on during the 2.5 hours. The desk in the room also allowed me to work in the room prior to heading into town for my meetings. I chose the option to have both my breakfast and dinner served at the property , the homestyle meals were both tasty and well presented. Monwabisi and the team make the stay extra comfortable with their warmth and hospitality. I will be returning to 8A on my next visit to Grahamstown.

This is a delightful place to stay in Grahamstown - lovely rooms, superb lounge area - views, pleasant breakfast (if incredibly slow being prepared). Our welcome was a little low key but that is not that important. But the road - well , firstly you have to park in it overnight. This is always a concern in South Africa - secondly it is probably the most potholed road in the town. And that is a low bar! I would recommend it with that caveat.
