Excellent game drives with Tim who went beyond expectations in making sure we saw all we possibly could. Be prepared for rough bumpy drives especially after rain! Loved our lodge. Pescatarian menu provided. Beautiful setting. Two nights with four drives was ideal.

Just returned from a Safari at Pumba Game reserve, Western Cape, South Africa. We stayed in one of their Luxurious Water Lodges and had a 'bucket list' experience. The accommodation and all inclusive hospitality are jaw dropping and the safari experience breath taking, - the Rangers are expert at tracking the wild life and we saw 4 of the 'Big 5' at close range plus lots of other beautiful wild life in their stunning landscape. Star gazing, photography, fishing all on offer too. Our tour was organised by great people at Venatour and included a week in Cape Town which was also stunning. It's 5 star plus for sure and great value!

We loved our 2 day stay at Pumba Bush Lodge. Our room (room B) was huge, with fabulous views from inside and out. Our terrace and plunge pool overlooked the land leading to the waterhole visible from the hotel dining room/terrace/pool. So we could sit, read a book, and watch elephant/giraffe and more walk by. Our game driver Tembani (sorry, not sure of spelling) was brilliant and we loved the wildlife we saw. The food was good and plentiful. The sundowners and morning coffees out in the bush were a lovely addition to the game drives. A great place to stay

I thought the staff were excellent the food is al a cart and of a very high quality and the accommodation was outstanding the Safari had great guides and fantastic wildlife

We loved our 2-day stay at Pumba! The game reserve is in beautiful and varied surroundings, our bedrooms were gorgeous, private, with all the facilities one could want, including a plunge pool and terrace to watch more wild life from. The communal areas are well laid out, service is friendly, professional and helpful and our ranger was awesome, very knowledgeable and fun to be with. Can't fault it! We'd go back and stay 3 nights next time!

We visited Pumba Private Game Reserve on 25-29th December 2024 for part of our honeymoon and everything was perfect. Our game driver Cleo was so knowledgable and made sure we saw all of the animals. We stayed at the bush lodge; our room, the food, the staff, the service was amazing from start to finish. On our final night the staff set up a private dining experience which was lovely. The staff couldn’t do anything more for us. We had such a great trip, we will definitely return for our anniversary.
