Food was fine but not outstanding. We preferred going to other restaurants at the Bay.

So much fun free beach free pool beds super comfy food is great at hemingsway definitly would come again!! I would recommend staying here for anyone coming to turks and caicos soon!

There are so many choices in Turks that everyone deserves an honest review. We just returned after a M-Fri. stay at The Sands. If you want a family friendly, affordable small resort on one of the prettiest stretches of beach in the world this might work. We were expecting more. The initial "ocean view" room we were given was on the 1st floor next to the noisy pool equipment and instead of the ocean, the view was of the staff parking lot and next door lot. +'s = Beach, ample beach & pool seating, restaurant on site, close to other hotels & shopping, comfortable beds, kitchenette, laundry in room, roomy screened in deck, pleasant bath products, small shop on premises, accommodating of room change request, on site excursion coordination, beach, revceived an apology bottle of wine and note, free parking, free shuttle to sister properties (definitely visit The Shore Club), affordable. -'s = Pools and "lazy river" are small and dated, not an over friendly staff vibe, do not count on pooside/beachside cocktail service, bed is made daily but sheets are not changed #sand, 1st floor ocean view is an obstructed ocean view on the side of the building, while not associated with the hotel...restaraunt service is also lackluster, cornhole/hammock area is hidden in back of resort and not very inviting, **YOU CAN HEAR THE CONSTRUCTION next door and while not extremely loud, it is noticeable and ongoing. Do not book here if you want a quiet tranquil spot. I would not stay here again, but I can see how it would be an ideal spot for some. Read all reviews closely.

Well this resort far exceeded my expectations. I came to visit this resort a couple of years ago. They have completely update and renovated this resort. The rooms are amazing, very well decorated and with all the comfies of homes. Staff are all exceptional, pleasant and very professionally polite. Staff always went out of their way to assist us with any requested we had. The Hemming way (restaurant) food was well priced, great portion sizes and excellent quality. We have been to Turks about 6ish times and stayed at several different resorts and this by far is a gem that we will return back to next July. Also, the price point is excellent! Special mention to the front desk, Abigail Renoka and team for going the extra mile to accommodate and be attentive with drinks for our kindness!
