Dreams Corfu Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

What a lovely hotel! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, we weren't rushed, the check in process was very relaxed, we were given cold flannels and prosecco whilst sitting in the foyer and the staff did it all for us, including taking our cases on a golf cart to our Preferred Club accommodation. The staff couldn't do enough for us and this lasted for the whole week of our stay. We were lucky enough to afford to stay in the Preferred Club, which gave access to private heated pools, private sunbathing area and our own private lounge with help yourself bar area which included named drinks along with snacks. On arrival in our room we received a bottle of wine, beach bag and re-useable drinks bottle which you can fill from the water filter machines round the site. The room was very comfortable and spacious, large comfy bed and soft pillows. The rooms were cleaned daily with towels changed and extra toilet rolls provided along with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, the only slight downside was the soap bar next to the sink in a soap dish, which became wet and messy, a hand wash would probably have been better but this was a minor niggle. Also the fact that there weren't many English channels on the TV, mainly BBC news all day. Bath robes, slippers and hair dryer all provided. We were on the top floor of the Preferred Club building and the views were amazing, saw an amazing sunrise. There are three other pools around the site, one near the beach which was also heated and another larger pool with swim up bar and also an adult only pool above near the Italian Restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. There are several restaurants on site, including the main buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the food in here was very nice although the pasta dishes could be a bit hotter even though they are under a heat lamp, the choice of food was good and we had several meals in here. The waiting staff bring drinks to your table. There are several themed a la carte restaurants on site, we ate in the Greek, Italian and Seaside Grill, the meals are excellent with large portion sizes and drinks refilled frequently, there are around 4/5 choices for each course. You have to book these in advance and although there is an app, we only managed to get a table once using this, so it was easier to book at the specific desk in the reception area. The staff in all the restaurants were very friendly and attentive. The evening entertainment was okay, we saw a greek singer near the Seaside Grill one evening, a greek dance group at the main theatre, which is where the children's entertainment is also based and a female vocal duo one evening at Sunset Reef. The only thing they don't have is an indoor entertainment area for if the weather is bad, alot of people were playing cards in the bar/reception area. We took a boat trip with Spiros at the end of the Jetty, this was an enjoyable 4 hour cruise

Resort was great, the staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food in all locations was of a very high standard. Would definitely recommend

Wow, fabulous hotel, good location 20 mins from airport. Fabulous choice of food and restaurants. Private beach, heated infinity pool. Attentive staff catering for your every need. Boat trips and amazing sun rises Corfu old town is stunning day or night. Gouvia town & Marina easy to walk too, look out for the swans.

This is one of the best all inclusive hotels we have ever stayed in. It’s not perfect - don’t think any hotel ever is - but it’s damn close. The location is great - it’s in the centre of a lively village with numerous restaurants, bars and shops. It took 25 mins in a coach transfer time. It’s located on a bay away from the actual sea so it’s very calm albeit the water is not 100% clear. The grounds and public areas within the hotel are spotless. We paid for the Preferred Club package and contrary to what others may have said it’s worth every penny. The preferred lounge is golden. We had breakfast there every morning on the balcony. The drinks are “ help yourself “ and they have international brands ( Baileys, Smirnoff, Cointreau and Disarrano to name a few ). A fridge full of bottled beers and wines which you can also take back to your room as well as a draught beer. I worked out we paid about £45 per person per day for the upgrade and we weren’t disappointed. The preferred block has great sea views ( we were in 461 which had a side and front glass balcony so brilliant views ). I think the rooms ll have the same facilities ( coffee and pod machine and stocked fridge every day ) but you get the preferred pool which while it didn’t have the view of the sea like the beach pool - it had free beds available all day. Infact at 10 this morning all 100 + beds were available ! ). Both of the other pools have more than enough beds all day and the beach area is the same. You will never fight for a sun bed here - well - not the first week of Sept that’s for sure. All the pools have bar ( waiter ) service and they work so hard. Literally every 10 - 15 mins you are asked if you would like another drink so you never have to go yourself. The beach pool also does rolls , pizza , nachos and ice cream all day too. The beach also has the waiter service. There’s water sports ( paid ) on the beach and Spiros does his boat trips to Corfu town or a 4 hr swim trip. The Corfu town trip is €22.50 ea return but you get Ouzo on the return trip ! The food here is undoubtedly the best all inclusive I’ve had ( and I’ve done plenty of them throughout Greece over the years ). The fish choice is huge ( much to my wife’s displeasure as she hates fish ) but the alternatives are plentiful. It was our 25yr wedding anniversary while we were here and we returned to the room on that day to find rose petals and balloons on the bed and a cake and pink fizz. A nice touch. Not encountered 1 miserable staff member. Sometime at the end of the season they’ve had enough of being happy and smiley and it shows but here - it’s like their first day every day and I’m not just saying that. There are quite a lot of babies here and I suppose that’s to be accepted as it’s a family hotel but the preferred pool not so much. There’s some things that the hotel does really well. The room in the preferred Nisaka building had incredible views and were really well soundproofed. Lack of somewhere to hang towels would be the only thing I’d mention. Buffet restaurant was really good- lovely outside space and good choice of food with some live cooking stations. Check in for preferred was brilliant- super quick and efficient. Liked the preferred longe too. Also loved the fact that water stations were easily accessible everywhere. Service was pretty efficient throughout. Negatives for me- sunbeds were a pain in August. Unless you want to get up early, just head for the beach! A la cartes- I have to say food was pretty average. The worst one was probably pappous grill on the last night- food took longer to arrive than most other restaurants even though prob only about 7 tables dining, which is fine, however when we finished eating most of the other diners had left. But so had all the staff!! There was absolutely no one around and no one asked if we wanted a desert. Really poor. As a travel agent, I do stay in a lot of these types of hotels. Honest opinion- beautiful setting, average a la cates, good service. Overall we enjoyed our stay but don’t go expecting luxury
