The hotel is well located for travelers with their own car but it is a bit out of the city for travelers arriving and departing by train. The building is rather new and well managed. Unfortunately amenities are rather basic and the hotel restaurant-bar closed at the weekend. The breakfast is of reasonable quality and contain a notable variation but in general nothing stands out.

Ich hatte für Ende April 2025 ein Familientreffen organisiert – ein Wochenende mit zwei Übernachtungen im Park Inn Göttingen. Was soll ich sagen? Es gibt wirklich NICHTS auszusetzen! Die Zimmer waren sauber und geräumig, die Hotelmitarbeiter freundlich und zuvorkommend (und sehr hilfreich während der Organisation), das Abendessen hervorragend: ein 3-Gänge-Menü mit drei Hauptgerichten zur Auswahl (Fisch, Fleisch, vegetarisch). Es hat einfach alles gestimmt – das Hotel, das Essen, das Wetter und unsere Truppe. Das Hotel und auch Göttingen kann ich für solche Anlässe absolut empfehlen. Wir kamen aus allen Ecken Deutschlands – die Anreise war für alle mehr oder weniger gleich lang, was sehr praktisch war. Falls jemand ebenfalls ein Familien- oder Klassentreffen (oder Ähnliches) organisieren möchte, hier mein erprobter Ablaufplan: Freitag: -Anreise -Abendessen im Hotel Samstag: -Frühstück -Wanderung zur Burg Plesse (Anfahrt per Bus vom Hotel bis Göttingen-Weende Festhalle, dann ca. 6 km zu Fuß bergauf durch den Wald) -Snack in der Burgschänke (bei gutem Wetter unbedingt einen Tisch im Biergarten reservieren!) -Abstieg ca. 2,5 km bergab zur Bushaltestelle Eddigehausen Alte Dorfstraße -Rückfahrt in die Göttinger Innenstadt (Markt), Kaffee und Kuchen -Abendessen im Timberjacks Göttingen (fußläufig vom Hotel, Reservierung am Wochenende dringend empfohlen) Sonntag: -Frühstück -Abreise Ich hoffe, ihr habt ein genauso tolles Wochenende wie wir!

Wir würden freundlich zu jeder Tageszeit im Hotel begrüßt. Das Zimmer war sauber bis auf eine kleine Staubansamlung an der Lampe im Bad. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
