I booked this hotel for one night because it's close to Gotemba station. I had read about it beforehand and was prepared for it being rather run-down. It was indeed very, very run-down, and had fallen into disrepair. The toilet was broken, and the nozzle sprayed water downwards, which was covered with stains, and was horrible. The room was large enough and had a sofa wrapped in cloth. When I sat on it, I felt the springs were completely loose, just like on a bed.
The view of Mount Fuji from the mountain view room on the 6th floor is blocked by the water tower in front. If you book a mountain view room, remember to note that it is on a high floor. However, I would not recommend this hotel because there are other options close to Gotemba Station with mountain views, unless you want to experience the decoration and furnishings of the 1970s.

The hotel is just across the street from Gotemba Station. The location is very convenient. There is a shuttle bus directly to the outlet mall. The location is very convenient, just across the road from JR Gotemba Station. The shuttle bus station to Gotemba is just across the JR station. There is also a large drugstore and sports brand factory store nearby (selling Adidas, Nike, Mizuno, etc., but I didn't go there because I was in a hurry), and even Tora-ya. The room is indeed very old, and the sanitary conditions are average, similar to the level of hotels in small county towns in China.
