We received the most friendliest service, when we arrived. The owners Jenny and Sebastian was so welcoming and me and my two kids really enjoyed it there. They offered us a delicious breakfast Saturday and Sunday and throughout, they told us about a little book store in the area that we visited three times! It was like heaven for my daughter who love bookstores. We took walks on the beach which is just opposite and took lots of photos. Manor on the bay is definitely a place I would go to again for a weekend stay.

Our stay at Manor on the Bay was exceptional, all thanks to the incredible hosts, Sebastian and Jenny. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome and attended to our every need with genuine care. The entire experience was seamless and stress-free. Jenny's breakfasts were a daily highlight. Her homemade pastries and freshly made omelets were simply delicious and were a testament to the special personal touch that sets this place apart. I can also highly recommend their poach eggs. The guesthouse itself is a tranquil gem, perfectly located with stunning views. We can't wait to return and enjoy their superb hospitality again.

Our Executive Team has just returned from a two-day conference at Manor on the Bay, hosted by Sebastiaan and Jenny Jooste at their beautiful, family-run guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warm, genuine hospitality. Sebastiaan and Jenny were hands-on and gracious, their team attentive and always a step ahead in making sure we were comfortable. Jenny’s catering was outstanding — we enjoyed every meal, but the highlight was the ‘Christmas in July’ themed dinner. When we asked if she could put something together, she went above and beyond, treating us to a festive spread we’ll never forget! The extra effort and personal touches throughout our stay really made it special. A truly memorable five star experience.

We were welcomed on that day by the Friendly Host who helped us with our luggage.This is our second visit, great location, good accomodation,good nearby restuarant's along the beach front, and also a must, a visit to the nearby wine farms, Vergelegen and Lourensford.Highly recommended place to stay in Gordons Bay.

The accommodation is directly opposite the beach which is awesome. The accommodation is beautiful and well kept. The rooms are big and luxurious. The guesthouse is close to other restaurants. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. There is only meal made by the guesthouse which is served to all guests. The food did not satisfy my pallet at all times.
