"When we booked, we specifically requested a luminous room and when we arrived, we were given the darkest room, so we had to ask for another room, which means, they don't pay attention to the special reqquests. We selected this hotel for the swiming pool, but on Sunday, we could't access it ans it was crowded with people, who seemed to come from the restaurant, the next day was better, but we ordered a hamburger by the pool and the quality was very average, the french fries were overfried. Overall, the room was nice and clean but we expected it to be more spacious. The location and view are great. The breakfast was excellent but the dinner was overpriced for what we got. The value for money has to be improved, if they want to see me back!"

"We were looking for the quintessential French countryside experience, and we found it! The atmosphere is effortlessly beautiful and relaxed, the staff courteous and kind, and the grounds are impeccably maintained, with multiple beautiful terraces, courtyards, and vistas. The pool is perfection, a delicious retreat at the end of a hot day of exploration. We loved the proximity to Gordes, and our dinner at La Trinquette was one of our favorites of the trip. This is the perfect location to explore surrounding villages and taste wine and olive oil. This property will always have a special place in my heart, and I hope we can return someday."

"The pleasant hotel, with nice view on the green surrounding, open swimming pool and free parking. The room was quite big and clean with nice terrace, but with basic arrangement. To the centre of Gordes is almost 3 km uphill, so difficult to take a walk. The restaurant situated at the hotel is outstanding, with short, but excellent menu and good wine list. Attentive service and good memories."

"The rooms, though small, were very comfortable; located in a relatively quiet area near Stone Town, they felt more open and natural than the castle hotel; the restaurant had a great location with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The pool was nice, a truly excellent experience!"

Best breakfast I’ve had in a while, no evening meal but reserved us a table in the town, They do provide “snack” food all day if required. And I forgot to mention the great view of Gordes from the hotel which is only a 10 minute walk away."

"My wife and I had a wonderful week in the tower ("Tour") suite with a spectacular view of the Luberon Valley and the town of Gordes from the private terrace. The property is located in a very quiet area, making it feel like you're in the countryside, yet only a scenic 10-minute walk into Gordes center. The building has been artfully restored in a country manor style with loads of charm and ambience. Grounds are beautifully landscaped and well kept; the large pool was great after a day of visiting small hill towns. The living room was beautifully and artfully decorated, very cozy; the indoor eating area and kitchen were sparkling clean with a brand new kitchen. You could cook your own dinner here, and also store your wine in the fridge. Our room was spatious and comfortable; especially 2 separated sinks in the bathroom; beds were comfortable. The room itself was modern and a bit plain in decor, but fine. The staff was super warm and friendly, and all spoke fluent English. They went out of their way to help us with daily itineraries, and they made our dinner reservations for us, even a month before we arrived. The owner Jean-Luc was so kind to us; he has traveled in the US so we had some nice chats about our respective cultures and countries as well as what it's like to live in Gordes. He even helped me get medical care when I accidently had a fall. We had many fun and interesting conversations with all the staff. Breakfasts were good (although a bit lacking in offerings): fresh croissants, jams, fresh fruits, juices and cereals. We enjoyed eating at a lawn table overlooking the Luberon; the lawn area is surrounded with beautiful flowering shrubs, flowers, and lavender. I even got a hands-on lesson in how to properly cook scrambled eggs which were so much more tasty than the agribusiness eggs we get in U.S. supermarkets. If you want a no-issues place with a fabulous view, top notch service, peace and quiet, and one that you can count on everything being just right, this is "le place perfect". "My husband and I recently stayed at Domaine Les Martins in early May 2025 for my 65th birthday! Everything about it was magical and the attention to detail is above and beyond. The furnishings and bedding are stylish, luxurious and comfortable. I used the basket in the room for the markets and ended up buying one to take home, along with some of their jam, body and face scrubs. We were in the room with the rooftop terrace that was a place of refuge at the end of the day where we could have charcuterie and wine watching the sunset. Regis and David are so helpful with any questions, directions, restaurants or touring advice. The breakfast is very complete and laid out beautifully with so many homemade and local items, was a great way to start our day. We hope to return someday!"
