Days Inn by Wyndham Goose Creek

It was very nice

was one of the worst hotels I’ve been in. The carpet was threadbare and patched. The carpet was so dirty my white socks were black on the bottom. The shower tile was cracked. The shower rod was falling off the wall. The Bath tissue out of reach when sitting on the toilet and paint was splattered on the frame You could see light coming through the entry door and there was not any double security chain on the door. The in room Fridge was tilted due to a missing leg. It works well… too well, everything froze even turned down to 4. The microwave door was also sprung and had to be lifted to close. The Breakfast was horrible… couldn’t eat it, Like “egg cubes”. Biscuits were hard and had a metallic taste. Didn’t see any meat, and the waffle maker was broken. The cleaning staff were ok but some of the front staff were somewhat less than friendly.

Rude staff and left with respiratory issues due to mildew filled room. I should have left but I stopped because I was extremely tired. The breakfast was disgusting and I threw it away

Not fancy but clean and comfortable. Also centrally located for easy access to military base, sites and shopping. Would stay here again. We enjoyed the downtown market, carriage tour and boat trip to Fort Sumter. March’s weather this year was perfect.

I reserved my room through ******* weeks before arriving. When I did, the gentleman checking me in had me swipe my credit card (I assumed for incidentals), and I repeated that I reserved with ******* and was already charged for the room to make sure. The following morning I I checked my account and saw that I was charged for my room a second time. The room smelled pretty musty, and I saw mold and dirt in multiple places. My key card also stopped working at one point for some reason. Overall, it was a cheap room, but not as nice as the pictures on the site. My overcharge was remedied, but the refund took a couple days. Not ideal when traveling! The area is not very walkable either; sidewalks on both sides of this busy road were closed off.

I did not like that didn’t have any towels or rags to wash and dry with and no hot water only cold. There was bugs on the bed literally that you could see with your own eyes and I took pictures of everything in the roo
