Check in was amazing. The receptionist was so nice. But the room was very dirty. You could visibly see items on the floor which included dirt, hair, straw, etc. Room looked like it had not been swept in weeks. Also, water pressure was almost non-existence on the fourth floor. Thankfully we were only there for one night. Will not use this hotel again.

The lobby reeks a very harsh chemical, the elevator reeked the **** and our room reeked strong bleach. When checked in/out the guy desk member was not very friendly nor time concerned. He moved in a very slow manner. It seemed like I was a bother to have him get up and help me. The girl at the desk later was a bit friendlier. Besides harsh bleach smell, room was just ok. Although the floors were wet and slippery and had gum stuck to bottom of bed frame. The tub was very slippery with loose shower hardware. Breakfast was ok. Liked the couple of hot options along with waffle maker. Stayed in better Laquinta hotels before. Choose wisely in that area. There's plenty of options.

I booked this room for my daughter and she checked in on Wednesday around 11 pm... the woman at the front was so nice and kind.
And thats where the kindness ended(with her).
By saturday housekeeping had not even came to the room once, no clean towels, no toilet paper given and trash was NOT picked up. My daughter let me know all this Saturday afternoon. I immediately called the hotel and spoke with a gentleman that acted almost bothered. When i told him the concerns he responded with "housekeeping already left for the day, she can come get w roll of toilet paper" i told him that is unneccepable. They were not given clean towels ghe whole time either. Not to mention shes 7 month pregnant. I asked him to take fresh items to her.
I also asked for a manager to call me and was told he would be there for the overnight shift and would call me, i have yet to recievr a call. I also asked that a manager call me upon checking out on monday, still no call
The breakfast attendants children were allowed to run all over disturbing paying guests during breakfast on saturday as well.
The pool was flithy, with leaves and cigarette butts all in the water. ( i booked this hotel for a pool)
For the price i paid, this is all unacceptable. Will NEVER stay here again, nor reccomend it

It’s a nice Hotel. I stayed there for business. Friendly staff. The hotel is not big, has 4 floors. It is located in a nice area where most of fast food restaurants are.

The room was nice and clean and seem to have been updated. The bathroom was clean and supplied shampoo soap conditioner. There were only two towels in the bathroom though so only two of us were able to take a shower. The beds were comfortable but I prefer a softer mattress. The pillows were tiny and there was only three to a bed. They definitely need to be replaced. The air conditioner worked great but we had to keep it on 69 to keep the moisture out of the room. We tried to put it on 72 but then everything started feeling damp in the room. But we attributed that to the severe rain outside. The breakfast was good and the coffee was great. We were driving home from Baton Rouge and the weather was so bad we decided to stop at the hotel for the night. My two granddaughters wanted to go swimming in the morning and we waited for the pool to open at 9:00. When they got down there, they were told that chemicals had just gotten added to the pool and they would have to wait an hour to swim. Since the pool opens at 9:00 the chemicals should have been added at 8:00. We were checking out that morning so they never got to swim in the pool.

Had a big roach in the bathroom and a tiny one as well. It's a pet friendly hotel and you can definitely smell a pet like odor.
