Great alternative to ocean front
We have stayed in Gold Beach over a dozen times and previously always stayed on the ocean. This visit we would explore one or two different beaches each day and then come back to the River House and enjoy the deck and river views. The time spent on the deck enjoying the wildlife on the Rogue River was excellent. Seals, otters, ducks, cranes, ospreys, eagles, and geese all made daily visits. The house is excellent quality, very private and furnished well. We will look forward to staying again.

Really great place!
We stayed at this property for a month. The view is phenomenal! The property owner was very responsive to any questions we had. There a number of TVs in the unit which is great when you don't all want to watch the same thing or if you just want to go downstairs for some peace and quiet. Would we stay there again? In a heartbeat, just not during football season!
The one thing I think should be made known is that there is no standard network (like Direct TV or Dish). You do have access to You Tube, Prime Video, Sirius XM, and others. We had difficulty accessing the 3 major networks and most sport channels.
