Всем привет, никому и никогда не рекомендуем этот гостевой дом, полный отстой. Он себя квалифицирует как 3* отель, но на самом деле это гостевой дом, без какой-либо ответственности за гостей. Как мы могли клюнут на отзывы!? Все отзывы не соответствуют действительности. Мы с супругой неделю назад вернулись из тура, отель Olive Goidhoo, тур был полностью испорчен, отель не соответствовал 3*, был самый обычный гостевой дом для местного населения. Все по-порядку: Трансфер: прилетели мы во-время, но вот трансфер пришлось ждать ооочень долго, аж пять с половиной часов. Вот и дождались мы свой трансфер и водитель насколько сильно гнал по волнам, что многим стало плохо и нам раздали пакеты на случай рвоты, поверьте этими пакетами все воспользовались. На обратном пути в аэропорт вообще полный атас, нас посадили ранним утром в 7 часов в общественный трансфер для местного населения – которые едут на Мале на работу, и не довезя до аэропорта на пункте, где высаживали пассажиров – и нас попросили выйти, взялись за наши чемоданы – собрались выбрасывать за борт, я силой удержал и потребовал отвезти до аэропорта, и только спустя некоторое время нашего спора, он позвонил кому-то и наш вопрос решился, нас отвезли в аэропорт. Пришлось побороться. Заселение: по прибытию нас на маленькой стойке типа «ресепшн» принял хозяин отеля, в шортах без какого либо приличного внешнего вида, выдал нам номер, мы сразу почувствовали, что нам не рады. Номер очень маленький и без особых удобств. В душевой стены были просто заштукатурены, душевые принадлежности не дают, ни мыло ни туалетной бумаги, за мыло попросили 1 доллар, дали детский какой-то гель для душа, которым невозможно мыться. Хорошо еще взяли свои зубные щетки. Питание: у нас было двухразовое питание, на завтрак сахара нет, сок приносят на дне графина, чай ели выпрашивали и ждали по полу часа каждый раз, на завтрак кушать нечего было. На обед 2 мармиты были полупустые, лишь немного отваренного какого то теста или овощей. Одна тарелочка фруктов, первые дни не успевали, действительно тарелочка, кто первый добрался до тарелочки, тот себе половину переложил фруктов, остальные оставались без фруктов. Мы похудели за эти дни. Уборка в номере: у нас тур был на 8 ночей, за все время нам только на 5й день поменяли белье и полотенце. Уборки никогда и никакой не было. Пляж: пляж болотистый, везде водоросли, грязный, никакого признака голубой лагуны, купаться там невозможно было. Другой пляж в километре от нас был, идти в жару было тяжело. Что на Мальдивах делать, только купаться и загорать на лежаках, а таком в этом отеле можно и не мечтать. Хозяин отеля был очень грубый, ни по каким вопросам не шел на встречу. Из рабочего персонала было всего 3 человека, повар, уборщик и официантка. Во-общем делайте выводы, я потратил свой отпуск впустую. Я турист с 10-ти летним опытом и есть с чем сравнивать.

Average location on the island, it is far to bikini beach with very limited swimming and snorkeling options. Lots of sea grass in the ocean there. most likely because there is lots of agriculture. Nice and well equipped rooms, clean , big, comfortable with balcony. nice views. Comfortable size of the bathroom, good water pressure and no issues with hot water. Be aware- there are rooms where you hear waterpump noise from the building. Very annoying, due to that, we had sleepless night. Also- when opening balcony during the day you hear water pumps noice coming from watering agriculture fiels just nearby. The major downside of this guesthouse is the meals , FB option is a mistake. We were served burned chicken and fish, Not eatable. Much fried and heavy food. Too much salt in everythig. Not to my taste. Overall- my opinion Goidhoo Olive is not really worthy a visit. This was a mistake in my case. I do not recommend this place.

Es la segunda vez que nos hemos alojado aquí durante una semana. La habitación es muy amplia y cómoda, con todo lo necesario. El desayuno muy variado y completo, y el personal muy atento. Jordi es una persona muy respetuosa y cordial, pendiente de lo que necesitábamos. Siempre ha entendido lo que buscábamos en las islas y nos lo ha proporcionado. Además, este año tuvimos un problema bastante grave e hizo lo imposible por ayudarnos. Volveremos seguro.

If you want off the beaten track and local guest house experience you cannot beat this place ! Jordy and his team are a great combination of friendless and so helpful in day to day planning from Kayaking to taking a speed boat out they were really good . The food is simple and local and I had the best fresh fish for dinner one evening which was a real pleasure . Breakfast is simple do try hedika in the local cafe during the afternoon or buy some snacks in the local grocery store ! The walk to the beach is quite long take a bike or get a lift . My room was great had everything I wanted although missed a fridge but got by ! I would highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a local island in the Maldives ! Thank you for a lovely stay

A great hotel in a good location. A few steps to a beautiful beach. Very friendly staff who did everything to make our vacation perfect. The transportation to bikini beach was a great thing. Really good breakfast. The room is spacious and in good condition. Efficient air conditioning and a large safety box. Free water. The hotel has a large roof terrace where you can see wonderful sunsets. The peaceful location on the edge of the village guaranteed a good night's sleep. The snorkeling trip was good, we saw manta rays, turtles, dolphins, eagle rays and lots of fish. You should definitely try fishing! These guys are professionals! Thank you Olive Goidhoo for a wonderful holiday! We come back!

Stayed 4 nights and 5 days in Olive. What a wonderful time we had in Goidhoo and in Olive. We did snorkeling trips and island hopping and all our requests were personally handled by the owner of Olive Jordy He was very accommodating and always guided us to the best options. Day-to-day operations were handle by very lovely ladies who always helped us with a smile. Olive have bicycles for rent which came as a blessing to discover Goidhoo. What a lovely island it was. If you go, discover Goidhoo and the close by islands. Every island has its beauty. Olive is situated in a such a place that you have enough privacy and a beach infront. Sometimes we were picked up and dropped off for excursions, right in front of the hotel beach which was more than our expectation. I would give Olive Goidhoo a 5 star rating for the reasons: 1. Our adventurous day ended in comfort of Olive rooms which done tastefully and comfortably. 2. Very clean 3. Extremely helpful 4. Food was good 5. Management and staff are nice and helpful 6. All things we wanted to was arranged easily. 7. We had our privacy and space. 8. People of Goidhoo are nice. They leave you alone but if you talk to them, they will talk back with a smile. Overall, one of the best island experiences from all my island trips. Kind of place/island I will go back ( many times ) Cheers

This was an amazing place to stay! A lovely location, great service and great food. We stayed for 2 weeks at olive, our room had great AC, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner in our package and it did not disappoint, the food was always fresh and different! Vipen, Jordy and the Chef were amazing attributes to such a lovely place. In the 2 weeks we did snorkelling with mantarays, turtles, sharks and a boat trip with dolphins! There is a local boat that can take you to the other islands which is a great way to spend a day as the beaches are gorgeous on Fehuldhoo! We did have some mould in our room just as a side note about one thing we would change, but bar that it was great, thank you so much for the stay! A speed boat will pick you up from the airport at $45 a head and it’s about an hour and half trip! Due to the maldieves being a Muslim country alcohol is not permitted- just so you’re aware There is one designated bikini beach for tourists, make sure if you swim at any of the other beaches you are covered as it is not permitted otherwise! The Wi-Fi connection was temperamental so make sure you get a good data package at the airport in a sim- ours was $50 for 50gb and that will last you.
