Great location. A very nice spa. The hotel room is unfortunately quite old, the shower was cold, the bed was uncomfortable and the walls are very thin making it hard to sleep.

We recently stayed for two nights. The majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was ok, quite basic for £160 a night. The bathroom and common areas need refreshing as they look very tired. However, my main grouch was regarding the breakfast menu which was confusing as if you have breakfast included in your room rate that doesn’t actually include everything on the breakfast menu, if you would like a very thin spread of avocado that will cost you £5! Disappointing stay!

Lovely room for the price , fine for one person. Could do with a full length mirror to see outfits .. as a guest staying for an evening event I would have liked to have seen my full outfit before walking out of the door! Room service was a bit shabby as I was told no sandwiches could be made as all the fillings were ‘off’ as the fridge had been turned off in the kitchen..?! Breakfast was good but I had to sensed my eggs Benedict back as the eggs were raw .. I think the eggs had seen the hit water for all of 2 seconds. Apart from this, I really liked the hotel and location. One thing I would say is that it would be good to have a courtesy sign up by the jaquzzi. I was using the spa facilities for most of the late afternoon and while in there , I was waiting for a large group of people to vacate the jaquzzi to let others use it. However, they remained plonked in there for the duration , chatting and taking up the majority of the jaquzzi. I could see others getting frustrated too. It’s just so selfish to hog for that long with no consideration. A maximum of 30 mins per dip should be advised verbally when booking in to use and on signage. It definitely put a dampener on the spa experience for me !

had a roast at Hatherley Manor Hotel and it was absolutely excellent. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The portions were generous, the service was warm and attentive, and the setting made it even better. I couldn’t fault a single thing. Fully deserving of 5 stars!

Another lovely stay at Hatherley Manor. Fabulous room, great spa experience after a busy day with clients, and helpful reception staff when I looked at changing my room for my December stay. All the restaurant staff I encountered were friendly and helpful to guests and Lena especially was great at building rapport with me. Lena was warm and welcoming on both my visits and as a business trainer in topics such as Customer Service, it was great to see and she is an asset to the restaurant.
