Premier Inn Gloucester (Longford)

Had a lovely break here but the room was very cramped. Bathroom was pretty clean but shower head faulty. It covered the floor of the bathroom with water as was spraying OVER tbs shower curtain. Husband ‘fixed’ it. Quiet location with nothing much within walking distance unless you count the pub/restaurant next door for premier inn guests only. No atmosphere in there unfortunately as it was practically empty each evening. Simone was a star though. Definitely my favourite member we is staff. Lovely lady. Room felt a little grubby with dust on one of the top shelves (had already put clothes up there when we realised it so they were covered) and cobweb hanging from one of the spotlights. Bed linen and towels clean. Room was very very warm so we had to open a window and that was without the heater on. Thankfully no noise from other rooms or outside. Chair in the room had some dodgy looking stains on so I wouldn’t use it. Overall a decent stay but not the quality I would expect from a premier inn at all. Would we go back? Maybe but the premier inn in the city centre might have been better as looked newer.

Visited for a one night work stay. Hotel clean and comfortable with warm rooms. Bathrooms had shower and bath but a tad small. Restaurant and food is very good and would recommend! Ate evening meal and breakfast. Plenty of parking and convenient to main routes.

We stayed at the Premier Inn Gloucester for two nights and the rooms were clean, warm with new decor. The service was friendly too. I would return in the future. It is only a 20 min walk from the city centre, although we used the bus once. The pub next door served breakfast which was really good.

Great staff and fantastic location for the cathedral in Gloucester. The shops were also very close by and the town. We had some lovely food in the pub next door to the hotel, which is so much easier than looking for o e with the family. Will definitely stay here again with family or just my partner.

The worst Premier Inn I've stayed at. The room was very small compared to a usual Premier Inn and my sleep was disturbed by noise from adjacent rooms in the evening and the morning. The receptionist, however, was very friendly. I would not stay here again.

We stopped at the Longford site for two nights 14th and 15th October. The hotel was conveniently located with plenty of parking. Our room was on the first floor and was well presented comfortable and quiet. The bed was great a king size superb!! Staff were friendly and helpful and as ever the restaurant was on site and a few steps from the hotel. The evening meal was well cooked and reasonable priced. Breakfast was a peaceful experience as we weren't in until 9a.m. Simone was in charge on both mornings and is a lovely friendly welcoming person and kept things running smoothly. Thanks Simone. We travelled by taxi into Gloucester using the taxi firm (Five Star) that Premier Inn have a direst phone link with. Cost £9.20. Very reasonable. Our overall experience was 5* in every sense. Thanks for a great couple of days.
