Courtyard Chicago Glenview/Northbrook

The location was so close to our community, it was super for us.

Very spacious room with a Mountain View. Valet parking was excellent since parking in the area was hard to come by. Not a bad deal at all.

For the most part this is your typical Courtyard. The rooms are pretty standard and the carpets in the hall are a little worn out but the lobby looks recently redone and quite nice. Danielle at the front desk was very kind and welcoming and the other employees I ran into were courteous. There’s a gorgeous garden in the outdoor courtyard, with patio furniture out if you care to sit outside and enjoy it. There’s tons of great restaurant options in the area. The North Branch Pizza & Burger Co right next door was fantastic and super easy to get to. It was nice to drop my bags in the room and have a quick bite next door before bed. Overall this was a great hotel with lots of easy free parking and I’ll definitely consider it again the next time I’m in the area.

Decently updated and very well maintained hotel. Check in was quick and friendly. Small bar and Starbucks in lobby, common areas clean and quiet, was very happy with the overall condition and cleanliness of my room. Good outlets for charging at bedside, free internet worked fine for streaming videos, plenty of options on TV with cable channels and streaming. Bathroom very clean, great hot water and water pressure. Bed was comfortable and didn't mess up my bad back, even though I usually sleep on a much firmer mattress. Hotel was quiet got a good night's sleep. Will stay here again felt like a great value for the price, safe, clean, relaxing environment with nice staff and free parking.

On my second stay at this hotel and I am still impressed. The entire facility, which included my room was impeccably clean and well cared for. I was able to park ver near my room, giving me easy access to my records in my vehicle. My room had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever used. It may feel too soft for some, but I was extremely satisfied. The meeting room was well appointed and very comfortable. And finally…every one of the staff were wonderfully pleasant.

We should have just passed through Chicago on a trip home across the country. Instead, we hit bad weather and ended up stranded when our airline cancelled flights and had no empty seats until 2 days later. By the time we arrived at O'Hare and got through the long lines at the airline counters trying to get new flights home, every hotel close by was booked up. We found availability at the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Glenview/Northbrook and were so grateful. When we arrived around midnight local time, we had a clean, large room ready for our family of 4 - a bathroom, "living" room with pullout sofa, and a bedroom with 2 beds. By the time we woke up the next morning, breakfast hours had ended. We were easily able to walk to Dunkin' diagonally across the street. Since we didn't have a vehicle, we then used Lyft and the L to travel downtown to show our kids a few sights. Upon our return to the hotel, they were thrilled with the indoor pool and I was grateful to find the laundry room next to it empty as we were desperately in need of clean clothes. The laundry room has a single washer and dryer. Change can be made at the front desk if you need it. The next day we used Lyft again to get us back to O'Hare so we could finally return home. While this location won't be convenient for the traveler who wants easier access to public transportation, it wasn't too far from the airport and was clean & quiet. We were grateful and enjoyed our stay even if it was very last minute and unexpected.

No hot water, shaky internet, no working deadbolt, a side entrance that didn't admit anyone with a card. This place has rapidly gone downhill. We have stayed here a number of times in the past and everything was fine. We're NEVER coming back.

I don't typically go out of my way to write reviews, but am doing so to make note of the wonderful staff at this hotel. VERY friendly and helpful. Every employee I came into contact with was nice to me. Much appreciated while traveling for business. A+!
